In one sentence talking about being molested from a young a child then the next sentence being hot and and heavy about a guy is not sexy. And all the nocholant rape that happens all Willy nilly with different guys.. no. And it’s in no way sexy- atleast not to me.

Yeah so I’m on the 23’d chapter and I’m still waiting for the Hero to turn into a human. But no, he’s actually just a talking lizard creature from outer space. I have a feeling they woman and lizard will be bumping uglies soon. That’s beastality. Gross.

Hated the first book

I hated the first book and couldn’t get pass the first few chapters. The sex in the book is beyond disturbing. Not sexy in the least- and I’m no prude.Especially with characters being teenagers! If you’re the type to penpal serial killers in prison then marry them- this series is for you! I tried the second book. I read it all and it was meh. And this one is even worse than the first. I hate I wasted another credit!!!!!! Zara was horrible at doing the men’s voices.

I can’t get into a person who’s so devoted to going against his beliefs. Not sexy. It started off with him talking about how he had sex in the church on the alter.. wow.
Priests are molesters and creeps, this just reminded me of the stories I’ve heard. Couldn’t get into it.

It got very confusing with all the jumping around in 1993 and 1995 then the present. Like almost in the middle of a chapter. And the author seems to introduce important details with no subtext and no showing or telling. Then will jump to present. Wth is going on in this book. I go back 3-4 chapters to see if I missed something but nope no mention really.

I tried again

I originally returned the book after listening to the first few pages. Gave it a try again and totally got immersed in the story.
