Historia
Perpetual daydreamer Liz Buxbaum gave her heart to Michael a long time ago. But her cool, aloof forever crush never really saw her before he moved away. Now that he’s back in town, Liz will do whatever it takes to get on his radar - and maybe snag him as a prom date - even befriend Wes Bennet. The annoyingly attractive next-door neighbor might seem like a prime candidate for romantic-comedy fantasies, but Wes has only been a pain in Liz’s butt since they were kids. Yet, somehow, Wes and Michael are hitting it off, which means Wes is Liz’s in.

I really like the way the author hints towards Lizz falling for Wes and then kinda makes her realize she likes him slowly through out the book but the down side is that I thought it was kind of predictable but overall pretty good

Historia
From the best-selling author of Deacon King Kong (an Oprah Book Club pick) and The Color of Water comes the story of a young boy born a slave who joins John Brown’s antislavery crusade - and who must pass as a girl to survive. Henry Shackleford is a young slave living in the Kansas Territory in 1856 - a battleground between anti - and pro-slavery forces - when legendary abolitionist John Brown arrives. When an argument between Brown and Henry's master turns violent, Henry is forced to leave town.

What an adventure!
Revisado: 08-01-22
This book knocked my socks off. I can understand why it won the National book award. The character development, the story emersion, the plot, the humor, the history and the staunch reality of slavery and abolitionist — all of it resonated with purity and genuine saturation of culture, time period, vernacular and that is rare to find in literary fiction.

Historia
In my book, you will meet a little girl named Viola who ran from her past until she made a life-changing decision to stop running forever. This is my story, from a crumbling apartment in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the stage in New York City, and beyond. This is the path I took to finding my purpose but also my voice in a world that didn’t always see me.

This truth telling changed my life. I am forever grateful. I loved the author’s performance. She’s compelling in everything she touches and this is no different.

I love crime dramas

Entertaining enough. Once the twists and turns started they were a little predictable. Characters were hard to keep up with. Overall I enjoyed it. Didn't love it.

It's awesome!!!!!!!!!!
Revisado: 04-25-20
It's an awesome book (says my eight year old daughter who has listened to all of them)! It's interesting because you don't know what's coming. There is an element of suspense. She thinks other people should read this book because you're always looking forward to the next book. She likes it because it's about spies and because one of them has a British accent! lol

Historia
Life is boring when you live in the real world instead of starring in your own book series. Owen knows that better than anyone, what with the real world's homework and chores. But everything changes the day Owen sees the impossible happen - his classmate Bethany climbs out of a book in the library. It turns out Bethany's half fictional and has been searching every book she can find for her missing father, a fictional character.
