Fun if you like the movie 50 first dates
Revisado: 12-04-23
Sweet and fun. Easy listen! Enjoyed it, different than what I normally read. A little language and sex but overall clean

Historia
She was a monster, sleek and gleaming, designed to strike without warning like the dreaded shark. She was the USS Mako, as fearless and bold as any submarine that ever prowled the blue Pacific. Her mission: seek out and destroy the hitherto invincible ships of the Japanese Imperial Navy - and revenge the earlier defeats of a long and dirty war. Here is the story of the men who pitted their lives against impossible odds in the most dangerous branch of the American armed services.

Too much language for a young teen
Revisado: 06-01-21
We were bummed that the language was so rough. Gonna have to return it sadly.

Beautiful memoir
Revisado: 05-03-20
I loved this story so much—love Blackberry Farm just as much!! It really made my visit to the Farm that much more special having read “behind the scenes”. This twisting weaving journey to faith is a must-read. Love the lessons I learned about home, hospitality and family. Thank you, Kriss!! And thank you Dee for the recommendation and lovely accommodations.

Beautiful story, super politically incorrect
Revisado: 11-23-16
Our family was enraptured by this story! We did however have to explain the use of "fat" "black" "ugly little girl" and several other terms and concepts that we don't use in our family. It was a robust conversation and overall we are so glad Collin, Dickens and Mary Lenox joined us on our long drive home for Thanksgiving.
