I read all three Huckleberry Lake books and enjoyed each one. The Characters in "Imperfectly Proverbs 31" were well developed and the heroine, Samantha Rose, had a unique problem that needed to be resolved. The author makes a good point that women often have difficulty because they compare themselves to others that they feel are living "perfect" lives, instead of finding what God has planned for them and what unique talents he has given to each of us. The only issue with this book was that four weeks is not enough time to determine if you are right for each other and to make the decision to get married.

After reading the entire series, I have concluded that there were both ups and downs about the plots in all three of the books. The main male character in each book battles guilt about a friend's death that was unavoidable. The blame each one took on caused them to decide that they were too far gone for God to love them. It would have been better if there could have been more creativity in the plot about this part in particular. The love stories were sweet and enjoyable in all three books.

The book was well-written and the characters were believable. My biggest problem with the storyline is how long it took Brad to realize what God's plan for him was. Ending was good.

I like how the author was able to write several books interweaving each story to the one before it. Love the characters, they are each very believable and the plots always keep my attention and interest.

This is the second book in the Always Faithful series and will not disappoint the reader. Characters are realistic and face problems that are resolved using the Biblical teachings as a base. Looking forward to Book 3!

Troubled Waters has a good base of intrigue. Unfortunately the characters, especially the female ones, are whiny, insecure, and jump to conclusions way too fast. They all seem to think that somehow they are not "worthy" of God's love, which causes them to make decisions that get them into trouble. The book needs to be edited better for overuse of terms like "epic" and phrases that should have been edited out of the book and substituted with new ones. The narration is annoying as the characters are given ridiculous southern accents, even when they are from Montana. Yes, this has been Susan May Warren's style throughout this series and the Christiansen Family series and after every book I read I ask myself why I am purchasing the next one. Each of the stories are suspenseful and easy to read, and maybe I wouldn't notice the things that stick out like a sore thumb in the Audible version if I was reading a print copy of the books. Ms. Warren, please consider the reviews that offer similar criticism of your books and revisit the editing and narration. People keep writing them but nothing changes.

The story line is good, keeps you wanting to read more. There are some issues that made this book very challenging to listen to and left me wishing that I had purchased the book not the Audible version. The narrator seemed to have a difficult time with the accents and made most of the characters sound like they were from the Deep South, not Montana. There were times that, if the author had not named the character, I would not have known who was speaking. As with the Christiansen Family series, phrases and words were repetitive and made me ask myself if I wanted to continue reading the Montana Rescue books. The story itself was good, just too many editing errors that were annoying.

Final Book in the Christiansen Family Series

Overall, I enjoyed this series. There were a few issues that I felt dragged down the plot. For me the biggest distraction was that the editor should have picked up on the multiple words and phrases that were very repetitive throughout the series. If I hear the word "epic" one more time, I will probably run screaming from the room! Several of the characters felt that God didn't like them. That was odd considering that the siblings came from an intact Christian family that surrounded their kids with love and grace. The narrator had a difficult time keeping up with each character's accent, in several of the books. I will compliment Joell A. Jacob on the range of accents she used in each book and I am sure that it must have been difficult to be able to provide the right accent with each character. While these things were a distraction, they did not impede my appreciation for the stories that were told in the six book series. I have read other series from Susan May Warren and enjoyed them as well.

Great Information - Mediocre Narration

I have read all of Jonathan Cahn's current books except for The Shemitah. The allegories were excellent, but in The Oracle, there was way too much repetition. The book could easily have been downsized by 50%. The narration was not as good as The Harbinger or The Paradigm and there seemed to be some confusion with which character was which, making it difficult to follow. The information was fascinating, but just too repetitive.
