Historia
Not too long ago, there was no coming back from death. But now, with revolutionary medical advances, death has become just another serious complication. As a young medical student, Dr. David Casarett was inspired by the story of a two-year-old girl named Michelle Funk. Michelle fell into a creek and was underwater for over an hour. When she was found she wasn't breathing, and her pupils were fixed and dilated. That drowning should have been fatal. But after three hours of persistent work, a team of doctors and nurses was able to bring her back.

Excellent read for all
Revisado: 07-02-16
This book was a great introductions to this little known field. The author covers old tested myths, failed methods, modern practice and a healthy (yet not overwhelming) dose of biology and anatomy. The author managed to tell the story in a unique case study/personal investigative style that's very engaging. The only complaint is some slightly confusing lack of pausing between the end of a section, the reading of the title of a chapter/section, and the first chapter. This may be the narrators style, or a result of editing. But the quick successions leads to, what I perceived a few times as; a concise thought, incomplete sentence, then sudden topic change string. It won't ruin the story, but I wish this would've been corrected a several points.

Terrific First Half!
Revisado: 03-02-16
The first half of this audiobook is a great, however it's misleading with the time since the second half is only a soundtrack and no dialog or narration.

Historia
Pacifism is a rapidly growing weakness in the Body of Christ today. Hardly anything pleases Satan more. Pacifism systematically weakens the church, culling believers out of the world early, and reducing the number of Christians on earth. Today's churches often have women teaching men and it's not the women's fault. It's because men are no longer leaders. Men are no longer Godly. Men no longer read Scripture. Men no longer do the job that God ordained them to do.

Quality was as poor as logical reasoning.
Revisado: 08-18-15
The production of the audio book was obviously done solely by the author. Between mispronunciation, general background noise, and occasion stray sounds, you will at least develop a better respect for quality productions.
Beyond the sound quality itself though, this book is rife with monotone enthusiasm, logical fallacies, and numerous descriptions of "baddies" and "drugged up thugs" trying to violate your wife.
I purchased this book on discount at under $2 and recommend not paying any more than that. This book was, for myself, a good chuckle at the fundamentalist right's fears and worries. The book recalls the classic Christian rhetoric of: "'Merica is a Christian nation", complaints of using scripture out of context while relying on the same deceptive tool, and, of course, a frightfully strong hatred for "the liberals".
Lastly, if you do feel compelled to purchase this book for a quick laugh, or to prop up your religious believes, be prepared to stop and jump around. Jumps and pauses were frequently needed, either to skip the author painfully reading every individual letter in a URL, or, so you could stop and make sense of how Point A and Point B arrive as idea Q?
