loved it. well narrated (calming but not uninteresting). probably not for those not already "into" trees. but who knows. I learned a fair number of american frontier times factoids as well.

thought I was getting an intermediate level book.. instead reads like a coffee table summary.... if someone was to flip through any of the dozens of decent into books on the market and just read the topic sentence of each paragraph this is what you would get .... an acceptable if cold and uninteresting into book for someone who knows nothing of the subject, unfortunately nothing more

was good overall ...
narration was problematic for me. felt like forced enthusiasm through a lot of text and if a person has no clue how to pronounce deciduous they have no business narrating a book about trees ....
the content was about what I expect from a beginners book. better than some worse than a couple..... overall a decent way to spend a couple hours if you are just starting out in your bonsai journey. not recommended for those with some experience

great course

only weak moment was totally unnecessary citing of a super eurocentric, American exceptional, ie racist work of history to to add to an point that didn't need the support. Diamond ? really? otherwise I learned a ton and found the corny / cheesy wit fun and funny .... a great course for an already educated person getting into botany.
