Historia
If you were one of King Henry VIII's six wives, who would you be? Would you be Anne Boleyn, who literally lost her head? Would you be the subject of rumor and scandal like Catherine Howard? Or would you get away and survive like Anna of Cleves? Meet them and Henry's other queens - each bound for divorce or death - in this epic and thrilling novel that reads like fantasy but really happened.

Not That Great
Revisado: 03-02-23
Overall it is not a bad book but I would rather listen to The Other Boelyn Girl or The Boelyn Inheritance. This book felt like a play of Phlippa Gregory's books without getting into as much detail on a different story line.

All Over The Place
Revisado: 05-19-22
This book is as my subject states, all over the place. I felt like it was very hard to follow because the characters themselves make no sense. The lead character has trauma and displays ladylike independent behavior yet she looses that after 2 pages? Then gains it back? Then looses it again? Then the brother in law looses his wife over her "betrayal." It was as if It was just way to all over the place and I felt like I could not get involved with the characters and the story. Would not recommend.

Good Book, Don't like the Performance
Revisado: 01-04-19
I personally don't like the narrator. She is very very loud for each and every character and it just kind of seems like when they're supposed to be soft-spoken or some other form of emotion she sounds exasperated and loud.

Historia
For the first time, James Malory and his Anderson in-laws agree on something: It's payback time for the culprit who kidnapped James and Georgina's beloved daughter, Jack, from her American debutante party and whisked her away to the Caribbean, no matter that she escaped unscathed. James figured out who masterminded the dastardly plot and is leading a fleet of ships to the West Indies to deliver some Malory-style retribution.

Very good continuation: Terrible Performance
Revisado: 07-26-17
I really enjoyed hearing about Jack Mallory amd her story with Damon. It was an interesting read. I gave it 4/5 because in the beginning when they were talking about the first time he captured her I personally felt like I missed something. The performance was terrible. Not the fact that she didn't try, to me her voice just should not be on an audio book.

Historia
A caravan driven at breakneck speed through the hills of Montana is the least of Magdalena Baxter's concerns. Evicted from their home, and due to soon give birth, the Gypsy woman is forced to follow her husband, Oswald, a drunk and abusive miner who hopes to find work in a neighboring town. Despite calling Sweetwater Springs home, wealthy banker Caleb Livingston clings to his elitist East Coast ways. While this may have brought him prestige, he's missed out on romance at every turn.

This book was a waste of good money.
Revisado: 12-10-16
The book is terrible. I don't mind a little bit of the characters not listening to each other but this was absolutely ridiculous. Two hours into the book I wanted to pull my own hair out over how stupid, there is absolutely no other word for these characters, they were acting and behaving. He morons get married and honestly this book is a shame to be called a romance. They have a desire to be around each other yet they are both just morons. Her initial assumption of him being an evil gamester and she's seen his kind before was irritating. People like to gamble, it doesn't make them horrible. The whole book are just constant assumptions that she makes up about home being a complete bunghole and him giving orders and stuff. Absolutely would NOT recommend! The only good thing about this was the performance by Helen Lloyd, she has a nice voice.

Okay story but way too long
Revisado: 11-19-16
I felt like this was such an anticlimactic story. It took a while to finally get to the point of what the secret is. While I understand the secret is a good one for Amish community I saw it coming as soon as the books said her mother was bothered and a man she knew Samuel. I feel like this book could have left out a lot of what the characters were feeling cause it was just in repeat the confusion and hurt. To me it was like okay I understand you're confused please lets get somewhere. I understand this book is a series. I will not be purchasing the next one. The whole book would have been better had the author shortened it and put all of the books together.

Overalll a very good book and I am super glad the couple got their happy ending. I really enjoyed the 2nd epilogue but would have to say it was a bit long. I feel like it could have been several minutes shorter. it was nice hearing how the characters lives were though.

Very good read from Kristan Higgins
Revisado: 11-01-16
Overall I like this book. It's about Chastity and her coming back to her home town to love then in the end getting the man she's loved her whole life. The only thing I don't like about this book is that the character mentions several times about her "ovaries" sighing wanting kids or that they are saying come on we don't have a lot of time. I understand the character wants kids but I always felt it was kind of odd that the character is all "my ovaries!" It wasn't mentioned but a handful of times. Other than that it is a nice story to listen to.
