Some parts okay, horrid narration.

I have listened to the entire series and honestly this one was a bit of a let down. The other stories had much bigger plot twists, and a little less predictability. The female narrator did not sound anything like she was from Virginia, and the male narrator's horrible phony accent is honestly insulting to a true southerner. He needs to take it down a notch, even old southern folks with money don't sound that idiotic.

As a whole, the story wasn't terrible, but it could have been much better. It just felt lacking in suspense and genuine feelings. The best part for me was the connection between Liv and Noah.

Lovely story for every bookworm babe!

This was a cute story with a happy ending. At first I thought it was strange because of how it started, but the story comes full circle and makes total sense. It's got romance, steam for days, and a little trouble is paradise. The resolution is completely adorable and I wish like crazy someone would do that for me!

The narrators did a great job, as well. In the beginning they both seem to been disinterested in the story, but keep going and they will blow you away! Maxine Mitchell has the best characterization in her narration that I've heard in a while, and Stephen Dexter has a smoldering voice once he gets on a roll.

The combo is amazing and will leave you feeling like you need a cigarette and maybe some beer and pizza! Listen to the book, you'll totally get the references! Enjoy the experience!

I love Amy and Kindred Spirits. I love her outlook on the paranormal and this book is a page turner full of experiences and information.

Just okay...

I have been so in love with all the other books in this series, I had high hopes. It is a sweet story, it just isn't as grabby as the others.

The other stories in the series were much more intertwined with the books the club was reading. In this one there was barely any mention of the book they were reading. Otherwise, the story is good and the characters are as well.

Performance was splendid as usual. Give it a go, but it will be enjoyed more so if you haven't listened to any of the previous books.

Alina Jacobs is a wonderful author!

I listened to this series completely out of order. This is the first in the series but I listened to In Her Pumpkin Patch and On His Paintbrush before this. The stories still translated wonderfully and they are all lovely stories.

I will say all of the books have the same plot it seems. I would like to see a little variety in that area, but all in all they are all lovely stories.

Josie and Mace are the OG couple of the series and they set the bar high. If you read/listen to these books in order they truly do get better with each couple.

It's long but worth it!

This was one of the longest books I have ever listened to, but the story is totally worth it. If you love Halloween and Pumpkin Spice and Romance this is one for you! Penny is quirky and adorable, a kindred spirit in the love of all things baked and holiday related. Garrett is tough but endearing as you get to know him. Plus the brothers add a major layer of humor and understanding.

All around, this is a wonderful story and the narrators did a wonderful job. Alexander Cendese has an amazing voice and does wonderful impressions. Samantha Summers also has a lovely voice and does great. I could see in my mind what all the characters looked like and their demeanor based on the narration alone.

There are tons of dirty bits, but they do not detract from the story at all. They totally enhance it. Give it a try and you'll understand this is an excellent book!

Classic enemies to lovers!

Great story line and characters. I sometimes had a difficult time understanding transitions between chapters and characters, but as long as you don't dwell on that fact the story flows cohesively.

Some of the narration left a bit to be desired but overall the narrators did a lovely job.

Another great story by Lyssa Kay Adams!

I absolutely love the Bromance Book Club series! The characters are amazing and the story line is amazing. If I were reading it myself it would be a book I couldn't put down. Thank goodness for audio books!

The narrator is wonderful and I love that it's men reading these books!
