What an awesome book. A great cast of characters and a very well written story. This book contains all the feels. I laughed, cried, was sad and really enjoyed the little bit of mystery we tried to solve as we read. It was inspirational as well.
Joan wasn't much of a cook but her Mom made her recipe cards of meals and things that she used to cook for Joan while she was growing up. On the cards she told a little story about each recipe. She mentioned that you only use farm fresh milk for this, you cook the bananas till they are black for that and so on. Joan followed these recipe cards making sure to read even the notes her Mom wrote while making them. Joan's husband John starts to make a table for Joan for Thanksgiving.
Thirty years later the cards and table fall into the hands of another Mom to be that doesn't know how to cook. What an awesome story you really must read

I can honestly say that I have never read a Shanna Hatfield book that I did not like. This is no exception. I was busy doing some work around the house and I started listening to this book narrated by Jay Dyess. I just could not put it down
The cast of characters were good and the book made me laugh in parts. All I can say is that it really was a good book.
Also I have listened to a good bit of audios by Jay Dyess and he always makes the books more enjoyable. I have problems focusing on audio books but he uses different voices and makes it easy for me to stay focused.

I thought it would be a good idea to buy a dog. I ended up with an ATV I have no idea how to drive. I’m not sure how this happened, especially since the man I purchased it from, Justin Gabriel, introduced himself by running his remote-controlled monster pickup into my high heeled shoe. I’m serious, studious, and a high school English teacher at Good Grief High. Needless to say, Justin Gabriel is not my type.

Tammy decides to buy an ATV but she does not know how to ride one. She isn't even sure why she has decided that she needs one. But she buys it anyway. She is a high school English teacher.
She meets the store owner who decides to tease her a little after running over her boot with a remote control truck. They both are a little attracted to each other.
I laughed at parts of the book and really enjoyed the storyline and characters. As usual with Jessie's writing skills and Jay Dyess's awesome narrating this story is like the rest of their works. You get drawn into the book and when you are finished you are at a loss as to what to do next. Do you start a new book or just sit and go wow. I can't believe its finished already.

Wow another awesome book that will tug at your emotions.
All I can say is that you certainly don't want to miss out on this series. I also recommend that you listen to it on audio. Jessie's writing is great by itself but when she has Jay narrate the story it is off the charts. I love how he puts so much feeling into each book. It almost makes you forget that it's just a book and not really happening around you.

Historia
Anitra Pollard has lived in Blueberry Beach all her life, an idyllic small, lakeside town where regular people go to escape real life. Unfortunately Anitra’s real life couldn’t get much worse, despite the idyllic setting. Her husband left not long before her oldest son was diagnosed with leukemia. Worse, the head doctor on the team assigned to her son looks very much like the man she had a short, but very sweet, summer fling with...and the father of the child she carries.

Wow
Revisado: 11-25-21
Wow!! What an awesome book. I have to say that Jessie and Jay are a winning combination. She writes great stories and his narration makes them awesome. I have to say they did something with this one that has really happened before. My son was amazed. He asked me if I was ok. I was listening to the book with my headphones in and they made me cry. I had tears just rolling down my cheek. I can't say that I have gotten that deeply absorbed in a book to make me cry like that. Great job guys.
Anitra's son was dying of cancer and she felt helpless. There was nothing she could do to save him. So one night she went for a walk and met a man on the beach who made her feel good about herself.
I'm not going to tell you anything else about the book, execept I think you would really enjoy it like I did. I read the audiobook version and it was an emotional read. Not all my tears were sad tears.

Revisado: 11-23-21
Wow. Wish I had a man who was willing to do everything that Adam did for Lindy after she left him.
Lindy loved her husband but he had been working so much for so long that she decided if she had to do everything by herself she might as well be alone. So she decided to leave him and moved in to their beach house.
I listened to the audio book narrated by Jay Dyess. As usual he made the book come alive. The feelings came out in his words and brought the story to life.
Loved this book and can't wait to read the next one.

Braxton married Krista years ago but she was the star in a tv show that was called Single in the City and she needed to keep it quiet that she wasn't single anymore. Braxton never even told his family that he had married her. She had told him to leave and he had. Then when he received the phone call to to come and get his daughter, he had, and brought her to the ranch.
Now she has come back into his life. Will things work out this time. Check out the book and you will enjoy it as much as I did.
I listened to the book on audio and it was fantastic. As usual the combination of Jessie's writing and Jay's narrating I just could not stop listening.

Revisado: 10-21-20
I love Donna VanLiere's books and every year when I find out there is a new one I have to read it. I can't believe I went so long without knowing about this one. It was really good. Loved the characters and story line. I especially loved little matchmaker Maddie. She knows what she wants and has set out to get it if possible.
This is the only book by Donna VanLiere that I have listened to on Audible and didn't realize at first that she narrates her own book. It was really good and I just couldn't put it down.
Check it out it won't disappoint you.
