Another great Robert Digoni book. I’d love to see a sequel to this book. The characters are so real and vividly described that I hate to say goodbye to the good guys.
The story took several unexpected turns including the finale.

The author drew me in as I listened rooting for the two main characters. The story was captivating and I couldn’t stop listening.

Riveting

As the story begins the listener is drawn into life of the early settlers and the challenges they faced just to begin their journey west. The spartan life they lived is hard for us in the 21st century to relate to, especially hearing complaints about wearing masks. The author brought the Indians to life and their culture. I would read this now that I’ve listened to it.

I’m sad it had to end
Revisado: 12-26-18
I listened to this while I got ready for Christmas, probably did more because I hated to stop listening and then it was the end. I wanted it to just keep going. It captures your heart.
