A lot of effort put towards paralleling our own current political/economic/social/cultural/religious situation .... I felt a lot of guilt for my part in contributing to the state of things now and for what transpired in the first book. This helps draw you in.

Much of the book felt like watching the news and reading the scrolling information at the bottom of the screen - lots of details/facts and was bordering on almost too much ‘information’ and not enough character development.. but I hope there is a point where the facts of gat led up to the end will transition into a story about the remaining people.

Made me irritated with the creator for trying to wipe the slate clean on humanity to ‘save himself’

Great read, different than what I expected, which is why I scored it lower. Well written and I am definitely going to the next book with gusto!!

Best book of the series

Clear start and finish no shitty cliff-hanger, jump the shark ending. End to existing storyline and open to new horizons. Great work, I thought this would be a trilogy- clearly this series has more to tell and is great with new challenges and enemies for the team to dominate. Purchase with confidence !!!!

Awesome conclusion - have a great read people. I laughed I cried I wrote a few ‘eff-you’ letters to Mr. Tufo.... I am now writing a retraction letter as we speak begging forgiveness for my earlier letters of anger.....

Two things happened when I read this book..

I realized the following two statements were overused...

1) two things happened simultaneously
2)excessive and distracting overuse of ‘former and latter’

Good read if you can ignore those things lol - thanks for another good book sir!

Great ending to an epic series.

If you are expecting a happy ending stop now and make up one of your own. King is notorious for the endings we know as what would 'really' happen not what we 'want' to happen.

Great story. There was no feeling of building to an exciting conclusion.

Loads of action but I did not feel the building of anticipation or excitement I usually feel when listening. Although my heart rate was steady the whole time - Great read. I have already purchased book 2 and 3. Huge Sean R fan but he really cocked up the Neufie/Irish accents. The accents were inconsistent and seemed to come and go a bit distracting but it was still a great Sean R. Performance. My friends from the east will have you pissing in your pants with laughter just hearing them with the 'my son's' and the 'Jesus' this and that so some of that is lost here. Overall good read.

It was slow, authors voice was too even, zero inflection and droning. Sorry, I did not enjoy this book, did not care about the characters and quit after the second chapter.

I was drawn in by the zombie carrot but these "infected" are not the only selling point of the story. There is a Game of Thrones type political scramble where everyone thinks they would be a better leader and are plotting against each other as things go to heck. Although it is not nearly as complex as GOT, the authors are obviously learning to work together the characters are developing nicely and the plots are getting more complex and intertwined.
