Historia
An extraordinary debut novel, Freshwater explores the surreal experience of having a fractured self. It centers around a young Nigerian woman, Ada, who develops separate selves within her as a result of being born "with one foot on the other side". Unsettling, heart-wrenching, dark, and powerful, Freshwater is a sharp evocation of a rare way of experiencing the world, one that illuminates how we all construct our identities. Ada begins her life in the south of Nigeria as a troubled baby and a source of deep concern to her family.

theres so much more than I know how to say and yet not enough to describe this. but basically in short, if you want to know how someone (in this case specifically someone with a mental disorder) thinks. this is great. if want to know what someones mind looks like, read this.

Historia
Doug and Judy have both had a secret power all their life. Judy can see every possible future, branching out from each moment like infinite trees. Doug can also see the future, but for him, it's a single, locked-in, inexorable sequence of foreordained events. They can't both be right, but over and over again, they are. Obviously these are the last two people in the world who should date. So, naturally, they do.

Like a car alarm, bagpipe music, or a doorbell ringing in the middle of the night, hearing this all-new audio edition of The Bad Beginning will only upset you. This unique multi-voice recording brings the first book in Lemony Snicket's alarming A Series of Unfortunate Events to such terrible life that no one should really have to experience it.

Terrible but great, kinda like Voldemorts wizardry
Revisado: 10-14-21
It just makes me so sad, but Lemony Snicket wrote a great series. I also love the sarcasm and snide remarks throughout the narration.

LOL
Revisado: 04-25-20
This was witty, charming, and pretty damn funny. I enjoyed the serious atmosphere of insurance agents through comical scenarios, the modern day aspects and references, the insults to human life and then some as a whole. The voice actor was well placed and like the use of different tones to accentuate different characters. Plenty more well worded things to be said in parts and as a whole. Overall a damn good "listen" ;] (or read im sure.)

Well, they are on a collision course with a malevolent red star and only one person can save Discworld.

The only thing i didnt like about the reading was the annoying chiming sound for the scenes changing.
