The narrator has a good voice, but mispronounces too many words for my liking. The info is interesting. But there are too many names, there is no thread to follow. This is more a reference guide, than a craftily told narrative. I blame the editor and the production studio. Good when it’s good though.

Not just white devils. I would’ve hated the MOVE people, but it was odd when it seemed more people cared about their belongings than those kids. This is a story of bad leadership. Live Aid was a cool story. I know more about ancient history than modern history. It was a cool look back for someone born just after this happened and NEVER heard of it. It makes you question humanity.

Chappelle didn’t do it justice.

Enlightening and thorough. The glossary of terms didn’t cover the half of 1940’s slang. The vulgarities will turn off the prude and sanctified. But the book is a portal into a window of time and circumstances of which my grandparents could only give me faint glimpses. Anti-hero storytelling at its best.
