Historia
"Okay, Lord, you can have him. But if he must die, I want it to be for something big. I want someone’s life to be changed forever." This is what Laura Sobeich prayed when she found out her 17-year-old son had only one year to live. With this desperate prayer, she released her son to God’s will. At that point, Zach Sobiech was just another teenager battling cancer. When his mother told him to think about writing good-bye letters to family and friends, he decided instead to write songs. One of them, "Clouds", captured hearts and changed not one life but millions, making him an international sensation.

Revisado: 02-08-19
I just finished Life After Death by Jackson Baer, and I was so glad to find the rest of the story of characters that I came to love in American Family. This will take you on an emotional roller coaster of epic proportions Book 1 was fantastic. Book two was just as fantastic and really brings the story full circle. I definitely am looking forward to more from this author.

Beautifully dark and twisted
Revisado: 07-08-18
Jackson Baer never fails to impress me with his stories, The Lights Will Never fade doesn't dissappoint. From the well thought out characters to the winding twisting storyline the story of Peyton, Charity, and a host of other characters leads you on a terribly twisted road to an incredible and unbelievable ending that you won't see coming. I love how well thought out Jackson's storyline is, he really has put some awesome thought into this book, I love the characters and the twists with the characters that I was like wait....what? NO WAY! I highly recommend this book to everyone, I absolutely love the characters.

An incredible story that is really hard to put dow
Revisado: 06-04-18
AJ Powers weaves a tale of life on the hard prairie after the world is destroyed by a volcanic eruption and constant earthquakes. In this book Clay has a family on the sixteenth floor of an old office building comprised of mainly children. This story is so incredible and shows the power of love and family that is woven through the very fabric of this tale. Clay is such a strong male character and he is one of the most well written characters since Orry Main and George Hazzard in John Jakes' North And South. I truly enjoyed the story and ended up buying the ebook because I had such a hard time turning it off in my car. The narrator does a great job telling the story and doing the different voices of the characters. I especially liked the voice he used for Charlie. I'm especially looking forward to book two to see what happens with these awesome characters. I am so sure it will not dissappoint because book one had so many twists and turns for this tiny family and for Clay himself that really made this world as true to life as possible.

Just when you think there's a happy ending.....
Revisado: 04-07-18
Where does The Earth Bleeds Red rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Very high up. I loved the story very much, the characters were easy to like and the love between the parents in this story reminds me of my parents
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
He had a way of not mentioning what you wanted to hear and weaving it into the storyline drawing it out as long as possible until you were yelling at the radio.
Which character – as performed by Dan Carroll – was your favorite?
The father
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
A family's strength is tested to its limits.
Any additional comments?
Baer really has a way with words that makes you want to listen to the story in one sitting. From my daughter hearing chapter one of this book she made me swear not to listen to it without her so that says a lot right there for the storytelling. We are both avid readers and enjoyed this story very much. Baer is a new to me author but his work is out of this world. Just when you think they're going to find a happy ending he throws another twist in to send you reeling till the next one. This book had us on the edges of our seat from chapter one and the banter between the family sounds real and just like my family at times. The killer in the story is a really well written sicko that Baer must have really done some great research to make this character so multi faceted and conniving. This is probably one of the best written evil characters since Cassandra Clare's Sebastian Verlac. All in all I would totally re read the book over and over the story is that good. I could easily see this being made into a movie one day.

I totally love this series
Revisado: 03-20-17
Would you consider the audio edition of The Vesik Series: Books 1-3 to be better than the print version?
Yes and no, the storyline is amazing but the speaker brings these characters to life in a way no book can. Eric is an incredibly talented author who writes amazing characters and even more amazing stories I love all his books.
What other book might you compare The Vesik Series: Books 1-3 to and why?
Hmmm that's a hard one to answer because there are so many books, the mortal instruments series comes to mind because the characters in this series are just as diverse and amazing as in that series.
What does William Dufris bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The characters, the comedic timing, the different voices...he brings these characters to life in a way no one else could. He is SO very talented, I particularly like how he voices the fairies and the old woman.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Any moment between the old woman and Damian touches me, he loves her like a mother and she is by far my favorite character.
Any additional comments?
This book is such a great story and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a great adventure. The characters are so diverse and so well written that It would be hard to compare this series to any other because it is so special and so amazing the moments Eric creates between his characters really stick with you and the underlying honor and loyalty these characters have with one another is a real lesson to our world.

An excellent read that ended all too soon!
Revisado: 09-17-16
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely, I read book one in this series and found it amazing, Transient Echoes didn't disappoint. I am going to definitely read the third book in this series. I love the world that JN Chaney created. He's got a great cast of characters on board with new ones to fall in love with. This was an excellent book.
What other book might you compare Transient Echoes to and why?
Mockingjay, The Missing Person's League, Soylent Green. These all have similar worlds to Transient Echoes though I find Transient Echoes at the TOP of this list for awesome world building.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Steve Barnes?
I might...
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Oh for sure! I couldn't put it down and found myself sitting in the driveway just to finish a chapter!

Riveting!
Revisado: 01-10-16
Where does Sounds of War rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It's one of my favorites, such an incredible story.
What did you like best about this story?
The sounds that pulled you into the story, it really gave you the feeling that you were there standing there watching the whole thing go down.
Which character – as performed by F. William Baldwin – was your favorite?
All of them, he did a fantastic job voicing each one. Each had depth and breadth in my mind. He is a very gifted narrarator.
Who was the most memorable character of Sounds of War and why?
Quite honestly that main character, the descriptiveness of his personal voice really pulled you into the story and held you there.
Any additional comments?
This is an incredible story of War from a soldier's eyes. Sometimes we forget that soldiers have feelings and can be afraid in battle just like we would be. The descriptiveness of this story pulls you in and doesn't let you go. You find yourself rooting for them, yelling at them, laughing and crying with them. It really lets you "see" the story in the soldier's eyes. The narrator does a great job of giving each character a certain depth that sets them apart from the others. This is a unique and wonderful book with a gripping and riveting story line that is truly amazing.
