I have to admit I got bored with it several times. However, it was a good story with a decent plot, and likeable characters. The female voice actor was not for me though. I found her voice to be grating.

I liked this one. It was not too spicy but spicy enough. I really enjoyed the theme of the ghost getting together with the woman. She was into it...ok ok, so was I. I'd have done the same as she did. 😆

And to be honest, I was totally hoping she'd stay there with him. Richard didn't deserve her.

I would have preferred a "why choose" because I liked all of the MMCs. Also, couldn't a 4 yo know how to get out of his seat and unlock the doors? I don't have kids, so idk, but I'm just saying. But overall, it was a good book. The only bad part was the voice actors. The only one that didn't grate on my ears was the one who did Caleb's voice.

I really didn't like the female voice actor. Connor Crais is one of my favorites, though, so at least I had that.
The story was pretty good but I took a break from it for a couple weeks and still got bored trying to finish it.

Good story

I was not on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading. I actually took several breaks from this book which is something I normally don't do with audiobooks. It was a good story, it just was maybe a little bit slow... I'm not sure. It just didn't keep my interest well. Also I do not think that the narrators fit the characters; the male more so than the female. She did a pretty good job, but as with most of the female narrators she kind of hurt my ears. Overall, I think I recommend but am seriously on the fence.

I didn't hate it

This was a good, light story. A little long on the lead-in imo, but I skipped forward a bit. This is mostly a feel-good story with only a little spice. The spice is not too spicy. I gained a new favorite voice actor with this book, Christian Fox. He has a very smooth voice that was wonderful to listen to. He's pretty good with most of the spicy talk in this book.

Not as good as book 1

I wasn't as taken in by this book as the first. All the inner workings of these people and their clans or whatever was a lot of drama...and not the good kind. I didn't like the drastic change in Lucien from book 1 to book 2. I'm going to read something else and maybe come back for book 3, not sure.
As for the voice actors, Brooke Daniels is great at delivering the zingers. However, her voice is loud and sharp. I find I have to turn her down and then turn it back up when Corvin King is talking. Her reading style during spicy scenes is just not... well.... spicy. She may as well be reading IKEA furniture assembly instructions. Of course, spice is where Corvin King excels.
