Historia
Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant.

Terrible Voice Choices
Revisado: 11-30-23
I DNF’d this 3 times before slogging through. It had nothing to do with the content it was solely the voice direction. The female narrator was grating to listen to, I have listened to IPB where she was amazing so I’m assuming it was a directorial choice. The male narrator want to bad expect for Diesels voice. It was cringe worthy to say the least. I am not blaming the narrators as I am assuming they were directed into these choices but I should have just read the book instead.

Historia
Anime-obsessed Anne might be a fictophiliac, or she might just hate touch so much, she’ll never have sex. She doesn’t really care about the difference, as long as she has her favorite pillow to grind against when she needs physical relief. Anne’s favorite pillow is more than just a feather-filled cotton sack—he’s alive but no one knows it. Hot, pulsing magic weaves between his fibers each time she touches him. All he wants is to be the man Anne needs.

Male Narrator is phenomenal
Revisado: 10-05-23
I have been waiting for this to come out in audio format and I give enough praise for the male narrator. It felt like an audio drama when his parts were on. The female narrator did great, don’t get me wrong, it just felt like the male narrator was going hard. (No pun intended)

Bad Follow up to a good book 1
Revisado: 08-16-23
I liked book one, the sex scenes were sexy, and had just the right amount of dominance to not tip over the consent line. Book two has a rough story, the first part is actual rape, multiple times. The second half has sex scenes that are no where near as sexy as book one. Z comes off as very rapey and there are times even the FMC feels as such.
Beyond that the story is not good, I feel like the decision of a cliff hanger in book 1 was not thought through and the author threw something together haphazardly, and as such the story is a mess.

Wonderful Continuation
Revisado: 01-12-23
This was a great continuation of book 1. Initially I was a little thrown off that the main character shifts to Stevie’s sister Carley but that didn’t last long as I was soon wrapped in her story.

Wonder Characterization
Revisado: 01-10-23
I liked the characterization following the Taylor family and their ties to their community. I don’t normally listen to this genre of books but being from Oregon and it only being about 3 hours long I gave it a go and I was happily surprised. I am not invested and I have started book 2.

Great Production!
Revisado: 01-07-23
This was an amazing production of the story and I love they used the people from Critical Role, most of them are voice actors after all.
