Historia
For a long time, no one pulling the strings in the comedy world thought that a woman over fifty from rural Tennessee could make it in the industry. But Leanne Morgan has defied the odds, reaching millions with her musings on hormones, low-rise britches, Weight Watchers, and her opposites-attract relationship with her husband, Chuck. In her charming southern accent, Morgan brings listeners inside her quest to find her voice after spending many years trying to figure out what that meant.

Revisado: 03-16-25
Leanne Morgan, I adore you. You make me even prouder about where I come from. You are beautiful inside and out. And I want to tell you that Jesus told me to tell you that He is especially fond of you. As am I. And obviously, everyone else. But God is the most important one.
Thank You for bringing Joy and Laughter to this universe. And may it always be so.
Love, Your Pal,

Historia
It's fall 1987, and life as normal is ending for the Malone family. With their sterile Dallas community a far cry from the Irish-American Bronx of their youth, Pat and Anne Malone have reached a breaking point. Pat, faced with a debilitating MS diagnosis, has fallen into his drinking. Anne, his devoutly Catholic wife, is selected as a juror for a highly publicized attempted murder trial, one that raises questions - about God, and about men in power - she has buried her entire life. Together, they try to raise their only son, Daniel.

Historia
For 14-year-old Wallis Ann Stamper and her family, life in the Appalachian Mountains is simple and satisfying, though not for the tenderhearted. While her older sister, Laci - a mute, musically gifted savant - is constantly watched over and protected, Wallis Ann is as practical and sturdy as her name. When the Tuckasegee River bursts its banks, forcing them to flee in the middle of the night, those qualities save her life. But though her family is eventually reunited, the tragedy opens Wallis Ann's eyes to a world beyond the creek that's borne their name for generations.

Save your judgements. This is truth.
Revisado: 12-23-24
This book speaks volumes then and today. These women weren’t looking for a statue, status, a good name, a place in history. They were taking care of the common good.
This story should be required in school regarding medical, psychological and spiritual curriculum.

There are no words.
Revisado: 12-07-24
Who do we think we are? The world doesn’t owe us anything. We owe it. We owe the Jewish faith. I can’t even put into words what I believe we owe them. The not so least of these is love, respect, honor and unity.

By the time Jane Flanagan discovers the house as a teenager, it has long been abandoned. The place is an irresistible mystery to Jane. There are still clothes in the closets, marbles rolling across the floors, and dishes in the cupboards, even though no one has set foot there in decades. Very very slow start. However, a beautiful ending.
Revisado: 10-25-24
I am quite disturbed by the lack of consequences for the Littleton brothers. Actually, there is no literary excuse for that. Very disappointing. And no one to blame but the author who has gone kind of rogue. Nicolas, your audience deserves better that that. Actually, your characters deserve it even more.
I enjoy your books. But the more I get to know who you are, I don’t like. I hope it doesn’t force me to stop reading or listening to your works. I hope you will learn to be more respectful of your vast array of readers.
Religious books tend to alienate people. Jesus never did that. But Jesus wasn’t religious either.
I just don’t want to feel like a hypocrite by funding and enjoying your books.
