Amazing Narrator & Slaughter Always Good
Revisado: 06-08-22
I’m listening to all of Karin Slaughter’s book for a second time because it’s been so many years. I had the original version of Broken, but it was not narrated by Kathleen Early. Since Early has become synonymous in my mind with Will Trent, Sarah, etc, I was delighted to see another edition had been released with her as narrator. I re-purchased the audiobook just to be able to hear Kathleen Early narrating! Slaughter is such an incredible author. It’s been a completely different experience going back through the novels. You really appreciate Slaughter’s talent for developing such deep, believable and relatable characters.

Great Read!
Revisado: 10-06-17
Absolutely recommend! This is the 5th in Bryndza's Erika Foster series and his books just keep getting better! I've seen other reviews that were negative towards the narrator, but I think Jan Cramer is great. She's the same narrator for all 5 of the books and I really like the consistency. It allows me to enjoy listening even more because I'm already accustomed to the various voices of the recurring characters.

Any additional comments?
I was searching for authors similar to Karin Slaughter and happened upon Bryndza. What a great series! I am completely hooked. He has written four in this series and I've loved all of them. I even put on my calendar his next release date for book 5 in this series - which happens to be today - because I was so excited to continue the journey with Bryndza and the Erika Foster series. Highly recommend!

Historia
When a woman's body is discovered in a cathedral and hours later a young man is found hanging from a tree outside his home, Detective Lottie Parker is called in to lead the investigation. Both bodies have the same distinctive tattoo clumsily inscribed on their legs. It's clear the pair are connected, but how? The trail leads Lottie to St Angela's, a former children's home, with a dark connection to her own family history. Suddenly the case just got personal.
