The family together!

This was another amazing story about the young MI-6 spies whom Tru calls "those magnificent children."
They have a rescue, a royal wedding, and a huge computer breach to deal with, and they do it all well.
But, as number 6, it also seems like the end of the series. A lot of loose strings are ties. There is only a very slim chance of it going on. But it's been a great run.

I bought the audiobook because of the setting. I love Malta, and I love cruising too. But this rich (with a butler) divorced 60 something sleuth is an amateur. An oops-another-case amateur. And hardly any time is spent on the cruise ship. She and the captain have a boy/girlfriend-with-benefits relationship that - from her own lips - is going nowhere.
But the wild mad-hatter-like race around the island with her trying to hand-off a flash drive with sensitive info on it, and her not trusting ANYONE, while trying to find a "kidnapped" grandma, (and bodies falling dead everywhere) makes you want to stop and catch your breath.
It's a hoot. A book for a rainy afternoon when you need a pickup. As light as a helium balloon.

I hate to write bad things, and I love M.M. Kaye's writing, but this book, set in the Kashmir area of India, was too hard for me to listen to. The narrator is an Indian woman, and bless her, but her voice seemed to me all on the same level of volume and tone. I could not tell the characters apart by their voices. Sadly, I had to stop it at about chapter 5 and let it go.
I listened to Death in Berlin which was spectacular, and I will listen to the next in the series, Death in Zanzibar.
