I could listen to Christopher narrate story after story about the escapades of Kinch. Fantastic story that packs an epic's tale into a punchy novel. He gives you glimpses into the wider world and I want to explore it more!

A Master of the Grey

Abercrombie is a master at weaving these characters and themes together, you find yourself rooting for characters for different reasons throughout the book and by the end you're a mess of different feelings about it. Just like the real world, there's no clear answer to everything, and everyone is just struggling through it. I think that's why I enjoy these books and these characters so much, because Abercrombie really does make them all relatable.

Worth it for Edgedancer alone

Seriously, between Sanderson, Kramer, and Reading this entire universe comes alive. Lift is a delight, and it's awesome to see her come into her own (albeit kicking and screaming)

I can't get enough

The second narrator grew on me since the first book! Much needed depth was added and collaboration between the two readers it seemed. The story and book itself of course was amazing to say the least. Brandon Sanderson is a master at weaving story, and his insight on people through his characters is uncanny. The action picked up in a big way and I can't get enough.

Another Sanderson Classic

Some conflicting tones between the narrators and the fact that they didn't pronounce names the same threw me off. Michael Kramer again nailing his performance. His voice is synonymous with Sanderson's novels in my mind.
Overall a slow buildup with a nice payoff, can't wait to see what the next books hold.

Satisfying to the end

Sanderson ties up this trilogy expertly in this novel. It had me smiling, crying, shouting in amazement in how things were panning out for our characters. The action scenes are intense and visceral and the conversations are engaging. Michael Kramer really puts on a performance and you can hear the emotion dripping in his voice, you get chills while listening. 10/10 would recommend.

The narrator grows on you!

I was hesitant at first, I was intrigued by the premise of the book but didn't like the narrator during the sample reading. However after some time I realized how well his voice works for a lot of the characters, even Vin. This book is very cinematic!
