Historia
Cherringham - a quiet town in the Cotswolds. Nothing ever happens there, or so it seems - until one morning a woman's body is found in the river. A terrible accident, according to the police. But is this true? Sarah believes there must be more to it. In Jack, a former NYPD homicide detective, she finds a partner who is willing to start investigating with her. They soon find out that things are not as clear as the police want them to be ... This first - of many cases brings Sarah and Jack together in an unlikely partnership.

Historia
Given the importance of what they do, and the controversies that often surround them, and the violent people they sometimes confront, it is remarkable that in the history of this country only four active federal judges have been murdered. Judge Raymond Fawcett has just become number five.... Nothing is as it seems and everything’s fair game in this wickedly clever new novel from John Grisham, the undisputed master of the legal thriller.

Almost Unbearable!
Revisado: 09-04-18
I have never listened to a John Grisham book. First, I had to speed up the playback because the narrator talked so slow and sounded like he was making sure that every enunciation was perfect. Now for the story - I found the storytelling to be jumbled. The main character was unlikeable. I never developed a liking for any of the characters. The book was written in a way that you most likely would not develop any feelings for any of the characters. I feel that when you read a good book, you find yourself cheering on some characters and wanting other characters to suffer. Nothing like this. The book was pure fluff. No substance. No intrigue. Nothing. This book has definitely made me to never want to read another Grisham book.
