There are much better books out there on Tutankhamun. There was a lot of "I think" or "I feel" statements in this book. I would not have added it to my library if it were not part of the Plus Catalog.

I listed to the Buried Deep when it came out in 2019. Just like that, The House on the Water did not fall short on surprises. Just when you think you figured out who did it, it takes a turn in the opposite direction. I cannot wait to check out more books by Margot Hunt!

I was very impressed with this book. It was thoughtfully written; as you can feel the heroines hurt, heart ache and grief. This book could easily become a two series; with the follow up giving a new life to the main character. It has suspense, emotion and heart.

I would typically listen to books like this, but so glad that I did. What would happen to the world when WWIII hits....well this gives you some idea. I would 100% recommend this read to anyone. Continue to listen to all of the books in the series, it is well worth it.
