Terrible person

I wrote Starr today because I’m getting terribly shunned for being a white man practicing hoodoo and conjure. It took me over a hour to write my letter. I received a 4 sentence response. Nothing like thanks for reading or sorry for what’s going on. First sentence was very simple. I can’t help you. I was raised this way and raise my kids this way I wasn’t raised as a outsider. She seriously just called me a outsider. In this book she goes on about how white people are just as welcome . Well I guess it was for her book sales. She said nothing like that to me after I poured my heart out. I looked up to this woman. Now I deleted all her stuff and burned the paperbacks I had. She really can care less. Thanks Starr. Thanks for helping a fellow conjure man. Or wait. I’m just a outsider that’s right.

For dummies not beginners

I made the mistake of seeing the word dummies and took it for beginners. I had to have google open for quite a bit of the explanations. But once you got that down the info in the book is VERY good. I’m not knocking the info. That part is solid. So if you do have some experience this book WILL help you. But if your a novice you may want to get some experience before listening. Or, get the book but be prepared to google a lot. I’ll state it for a third time. The info is good just not a starting point.

Good for kids. Waste of money

The first half is the usual beginners stuff. Use of colors etc. the second half is mast spells to give acne and bad hair days. Good if your a high school kid. I’m sorry I’m not giving a had hair day when I’m looking for revenge. Terry waste of credits

I absolutely loved this book. I’m a Irish man that lives in the mountains of Pennsylvania. I learned so much and can’t wait to put what I learned to hood use. At the end you questioned weather or not to publish it, I thank god you did.

Very hippy dippy

I kinda wish I could get my money back. There was some good info on her but nothing that isn’t very easily found on google. There’s a lot of very hippy dippy stuff. Very close to the wiccan ways. Do no harm. Hekate only helps the kind people stuff. Don’t use powers to harm. No I’m into spells to kill but I’m sorry Hekate isn’t only there for doing kind work. I really didn’t enjoy this read .

This book doesn't teach hoodoo it's just the history. It's a good book if your looking for the history but I give it low stars because I thought it was something it wasn't.
