You can be better.

Read this book to be inspired to be better. Cam Hanes simply lets you inside his mind to get a glimpse of how and why he leads his grueling and intense lifestyle.
My only critique would be that it can be a little repetitive at times.
Beyond that, this read will get you up off the couch and attempting to be a better version of yourself.
Or, at least it should.

Great insight into the tragedy.

I loved this book. Some reviewers claimed the author should have had a performer read his book. I disagree. Even with the author's extremely dry delivery of the material, I enjoyed him giving HIS research. He was the one with access to Holmes. His reading of the material sounded very authentic.

This book affected me. I discussed this book with my family, friends, and coworkers. I thought about this book during the day... I had dreams about this book. The way the author brought the reader into the experiences of all involved leading up to and including after the tragedy was masterful. Until you've read this book, you won't know the full story. Great performance from the reader. Best audiobook I've listened to.

Although the narrator was sometimes overly dramatic in his storytelling, this story was indeed extremely dramatic. If you're interested in Johnny Cash, this insight into the album at Folsom prison is a must listen.

It was interesting. If you're a fan of Broken Lizard, this is a must read.
The last chapter gives the author's very informed opinion about the current state of the film industry. I really recommend it to anybody who is, at least, remotely interested in movies and television.

Enjoyed the book. Honestly this is one of the rare occurrences where the movie is better than the book, however. The reader was good. His performance of Quint was, at least for me, a highlight.
