AVery unique version of the lives of Hanzel and Gretel. I really was fascinated by this version of their lives. The book Title indicates this is a True Story and I am left wondering about that. A s an extremely different Hansel and Gretel Ienjoyed the book, but knowing the history of the Hitler Era it is a sad book also.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Thumbs surprising biographies.

I found this book surprising, enjoyable, and yet frustrating as well. I plan to read it a few more times in order to understand Mrs. Tom Thumb better.. She was a surprising young woman of many complex emotions, from deep love to paralyzing fears, both founded on deep reaLities.

Too Much and Never Enough

Mary Trump, author of this book and a cousin of our current president Donald Trump, has written an excellent biography of President Trump's life and interactions within their family.

It is an eye opening book and helped me to better understand Donald Trump himself. I was surprised to discover how some of the roots of his adult behaviors formed and developed as he grew up. Her book explains a lot of who our President is now in his adult years, I highly recommend reading this book to all.

A fantastic 3 day, almost non-stop listen!

Loved it and was breathless and amazed at all the turns and twists as the story wove itself out in unexpected directions. Glad it is different from the movie, which is also dramatic. It's like two amazing tales , both leaving one breathless. Will humans survive?, ?, ?

The author's history of his search for his lost family mrmbers is spellbinding and deeply heart rending for the tragic ,loses of family members. Children stolen from mothers, some found and reclaimed, some not heard of until many years later. The authors unraveling of all these mystoris slowly clears up as family members begin to be found by him and by each other. A book one can not put down until the last word is told. L. Lee Dreier

A story of people, families natives and immigrants , friends and enemies that changed the history of our country. Wish I could rate this true history and biography book with a hundred stars. Hope many of you hear it.

Great narrator and excellent author. Love all of her books.


Wish she could also write a book about a child escaping death from a home country and the USA constitution used to save her life. a good way for kids to learn the safety laws of our constitution. They are amazing laws.

The Righteous Few

This book is the among the best books I have listened to. In great detail, well researched, the author shares with us the lives and, even deaths, of those sacrificed their own lives to save others and to stand up against the evils of Hitler's Nazi regime. Hard to put down. LLD.

Louisa May Alcott's heartfelt book.

I loved this book, laughed and cried to this true story. Highly recommended.

Added note: The writer's 19th century vocabulary is a wonderful way to learn many additional english words. I grew up reading Little Woman and other such books. As a result I now have a wonderful time reading and listening to such rich, enjoyable stories. No thesaurus needed back then. People actually used all those types of words in their daily speaking and writing; as also seen in other books of that era such as Swiss family Robinson, etc.
