LOVE the Orphan X Novels
Revisado: 02-28-21
I loved all the Orphan X novels (bk 2 not as much as the rest) and this one didn't disappoint. I love that Evan is evolving emotionally a little more with each novel. This one asked you to stretch your possibility belief meter a bit, but I guess that's why it's considered fiction. I can't wait for the next one!

Too Much Back & Forth Between Past & Present
Revisado: 02-28-21
Finally gave up with only 3 hours left to finish. Jumping back and forth between past and present so often throughout the story just drove me crazy. When he jumped back to 1990, I finally gave up. On the positive side, the author at least indicated the date so you knew which year he was taking you to in the story as opposed to jumping back and forth as some authors do and let you figure it out yourself. Maybe the last 3 hrs. are more exciting than the first 5 hrs. and that's how it got such good reviews, but I'll never know. I was listening to the audio book as I walk 90 minutes each morning. Perhaps if I was reading the book where I could skip the boring parts, I would have liked it better and gave it 4 stars. Loved the narrator!

Historia
The President of the United States can’t decide how to respond to a classified video showing the Taliban’s brutal treatment of their captive - a female helicopter pilot of the Army’s elite Special Operations Aviation Regiment. Afraid that a botched rescue will further destabilize foreign policy and end his presidency, the Commander-in-Chief falters. But when the Special Ops community learns that one of their own is being tortured and will almost certainly be killed, no executive order will stop them from attempting a rescue mission.

Revisado: 07-20-19
Book is non-stop action. Not a boring moment. Story line and narrator both excellent. Can’t wait to download the next book in the series! The narrator ‘s change of voice and accent to differentiate the characters is exceptional and really adds to the story. 5+ stars!!

Historia
Can a single word create miracles? Switchwords are straightforward and easy to use. Switchwords are simply words that "switch" on your subconscious mind, sort of like switching on a light. They are, in many ways, one-word affirmations. But unlike the conventional affirmations that don't work, these one-word miracles do. Switchword Miracles will teach you everything you need to know about how to use these amazing single-word affirmations.

A new look/concept re: tapping
Revisado: 12-13-18
I’m interested in and relatively new to the practice of Tapping so I enjoyed reading another approach. It was interesting enough that I plan to purchase his next book. That being said- the reason for the lower rating is because the looong chapter ( I believe is chapter 3) was more in depth than I really needed, but maybe the horrible narration during that chapter made it more tedious than it normally would have been. It’s obvious each chapter was recorded separately (which is fine). I find it insulting that the author couldn’ t be bothered to re-record that chapter. He stammered and stumbled his way through and even briefly lost his place a couple of times. It made one wonder if he was trying to read too fast or if he just couldn’t read his own copy. Since the narration of the other chapters was really good, I don’t know why he didn’t re-record the poorly narrated chapter to show respect for his readers.

Historia
Fresh off his first mission back with the CIA, Court Gentry secures what seems like a cut-and-dried contract job: A group of expats in Paris hires him to kidnap the mistress of Syrian dictator Ahmed Azzam to get intel that could destabilize Azzam's regime. Court delivers Bianca Medina to the rebels, but his job doesn't end there. She soon reveals that she has given birth to a son, the only heir to Azzam's rule - and a potent threat to the Syrian president's powerful wife. Now, to get Bianca's cooperation, Court must bring her son out of Syria alive.

Great story, exceptional narration!
Revisado: 12-09-18
I loved this book. The narration by Jay Snyder makes this non-stop action book even more exciting. He’s able to nail French, Arab, English, Russian, and Dutch accents which helps make the already well developed characters in the story even more interesting. I love the Gray Man character and can’t wait for the next one. This audible is definitely worth a listen! 5 stars!

Now all she has are the newspaper clippings that wallpaper her bedroom, and her recurring nightmares of an all-consuming fire. Dislike for female lead ruined the story for me
Revisado: 09-02-18
The narrators were excellent. The story was good; however, the female lead character is totally unlikeable - spoiled, self-centered, stubborn and totally unfeeling towards anyone but herself. It ruined the story for me because I grew to dislike her more and more as the story went on and it was difficult to overlook the dislike to concentrate on the story. The exceptional narration kept me listening to the book, but I can't recommend it because in real life, I tend to avoid being around people like the female lead because they're so totally unaware of anyone in the world but themselves that it's always a one-sided conversation and/or friendship. Ruined the book for me.

Thoroughly Entertaining!
Revisado: 05-24-18
Although I’ve read and loved several of his books, this was my first Michael Connelly audible. Now I’m hooked and can’t wait to listen to my next Connelly audible, as long as it’s narrated by Titus Welliver, whose narration is the icing on an already delicious cake.

Loved this audible
Revisado: 05-24-18
In his usual expert story telling, Michael Connelly scored with another exceptional book. I especially like how he has several stories going on at the same time without distracting from one another. Titus Welliver is the perfect narrator. I especially enjoyed that he changed his voice and added different accents for the varying characters. Can’t wait for the next book!
