Hot take 🤣 was not OBSESSED unfortunately. I still loved almost all of this book. Would have been 5 stars but I really disliked a specific part that just ruined the last bit for me.
I really did love being immersed in the figure skating world because I live for an ice rink. I went to Russia my junior year of college so I loved part of the book taking place there. I absolutely LOVED seeing Cyrillic in the book because it reminded me of my two years of Russian at JMU.
I definitely still recommend this book for anyone and everyone! Just didn’t vibe with part of it IYKYK.

Thoroughly enjoyed! I have loved all of the KA Tucker books I’ve read so decided to try The Player Next Door, and it was no different. I was sucked in right from the start, and wasn’t too education heavy even though the FMC is the MMC’s son’s teacher (and neighbor) LOL slightly messy but that makes for good drama!

If you know me, you know I love a story with Scotland. And this book is no different! While only 1/3 of the book takes place there, I just knew I was going to love it.
I was very invested in the characters in this story and had to stay up past my bedtime to see how it was going to end.

Loved the narrators first and foremost. Not too heavy of accents, very easy to understand even at 1.75x speed.
This was an outstanding ending to the duology. Absolutely loved the story picking up right where we left off at the end of Divine Rivals. We still get letters between Roman and Iris, and I was so giddy at parts. Love love love
