Historia
At 8:46 a.m. on September 11, 2001, 14,000 people were inside the twin towers; reading e-mails, making trades, eating croissants at Windows on the World. Over the next 102 minutes, each would become part of a drama for the ages, one witnessed only by the people who lived it, until now.

Not what I expected
Revisado: 03-26-07
After listening to this audio book, I had to go back and read the summary of the book again because I thought I had mis-read what this book was about. Turns out, I had not...very disappointed in the content, I anticipated "tales" from inside the towers and what I found was a lot of political statements of what was wrong with the whole situation. From the actual architecture to the disconnect between emergency organizations. Although I usually try not to give to much away in my reviews, this time I feel that it is warranted...the ending was really the only part that focused on those "tales" but it was brief.

Historia
Love and hope often arrive in the strangest places and in the strangest ways. During his tour of duty in Iraq, Lieutenant Colonel Jay Kopelman of the U.S. Marines endured the emotional stress common for those involved in bloody battles for freedom. Although the rules forbid pets, Kopelman and his comrades adopted an abandoned puppy left behind after the battle for Fallujah. The dog (named Lava) befriended the Marines and journalists, and was eventually smuggled out of Iraq.

GREAT!!!
Revisado: 02-25-07
From the content...to the narrator, I enjoyed every minute of this book. During 75% of the listen, I was at the edge of my seat!!! In order not to give too much away...the narrator was fantastic, I laughed...I got a little teary-eyed...there were moments that my mouth was agape from the graphic nature of some of the content. Overall, I very quick listen and every minute was enjoyed - I have over an hour commute each way to/from work and I even found myself do a couple extra circles around my house to listen even longer.

Historia
Princeton. Good Friday, 1999. On the eve of graduation, two students are a hairsbreadth from solving the mysteries of the Hypnerotomachia Poliphili. Famous for its hypnotic power over those who study it, the 500-year-old Hypnerotomachia may finally reveal its secrets to Tom Sullivan, whose father was obsessed with the book, and Paul Harris, whose future depends on it. Had potential
Revisado: 02-25-07
This audio book was very disappointing all around. The characters were barely developed, the "added" romance/relationship seemed like it was just thrown in, and there was absolulte no closure at all...I like an open-ended novel just as much as the next person but with The Rule of Four, there was unfinished business every where. The narrator was very monotonous and overall the book had a great concept but no substance...I couldn't wait till it was over, yet I continued to listen thinking that something significant was going to happen...maybe I missed something...would not recommend.

Historia
In Top Performer, you'll meet Jim, a disciplined but uninspired sales manager. In London, on vacation, (his first in years) he meets Top Hat. In an engrossing conversation, Top Hat tells him about a legendary Dublin busker/street performer called the Rat Catcher, who engages his audience and effortlessly charms them into parting easily with their change. Top Hat then gives Jim an envelope to bring to the Rat Catcher as a form of introduction. Jim is incredulous, and even a bit suspicious.

Not half as good as FISH
Revisado: 01-20-07
I was very excited to listen to this audio book since many years ago, this author changed my professional and personal life with his book FISH. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed...it gave a cute little story but lacked the "punch" that I was looking for. There are a few concepts that I was able to implement in my daily work but not as many as I had hoped. The audio is easy to follow, has a cute story, but overall lacks the substance that FISH had / has.

Easy to follow, easy to implement
Revisado: 01-20-07
I found this audio book very easy to follow and it had information that you could use today to start increasing your book of business. Some / most of the information may be a bit basic for the seasoned professional but I found it to be a good refresher to bring my career back to basics and MUST for those new in the field.
