Historia
With Give and Take, Adam Grant not only introduced a landmark new paradigm for success but also established himself as one of his generation’s most compelling and provocative thought leaders. In Originals he again addresses the challenge of improving the world, but now from the perspective of becoming original: choosing to champion novel ideas and values that go against the grain, battle conformity, and buck outdated traditions. How can we originate new ideas, policies, and practices without risking it all?

Narrator is Ferris Bullets Economics Teachers 😴
Revisado: 01-07-17
I was incredibly excited about listening to Originals. Having been inspired by Adam Grant & Sheryl Sandberg's Ted Talks, I was eager to immerse myself into the enlightenment of non-conformists.
Sadly, the narrator has completely ruined this experience. In all fairness, he has a nice masculine voice, but it's dull, monotone and will put you to sleep. He has managed delivering fascinating and cutting edge research in the most boring way possible. He is the literary voice of Ferris Buller's Economics Teacher 😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴
Due to this, I'm unable to listen whilst driving.
Why didn't Adam narrate? This content should be delivered by an energetic and enthusiastic speaker.

Historia
On November 15, 1959, in the small town of Holcomb, Kansas, four members of the Clutter family were savagely murdered by blasts from a shotgun held a few inches from their faces. There was no apparent motive for the crime, and there were almost no clues.

Worst book
Revisado: 12-30-16
This is by far the absolute worst book ever written. The plot and story are incredibly slow paced and anticlimactic. Where Capote lacks literary talent, he replaces with semi-factual character quirks. Had the main characters never been hung in real life, this book would be completely irrelevant on all fronts.

Historia
Dashiell Hammett’s The Maltese Falcon, first serialized in a magazine in 1930, is best known through the iconic Humphrey Bogart film of 1941. But it was the book that created the classic "noir" genre with its tough private detective threading his cool way between the criminals and the law. Sam Spade, the private eye solving the mystery of the Maltese statuette, was the template for Philip Marlowe and a host of others…. but they come no more shrewd and cunning with Hammett peppering the text with one-liners.

Narration helped. Surprise ending
Revisado: 10-07-16
In contrast to the other reviews, the narration was really helpful and well played. Aside from a BBC dramatization, this is about as good as could be done with multiple characters and a complex plot twist.
Listened to the other Humphrey Bogart narration, but it's impossible to understand a word he says! This narrators fiction is crystal clear.

Historia
A BBC Radio 4 full-cast dramatisation starring John Moffatt as Hercule Poirot. Mrs Farrars is found dead of an apparent overdose one year after the death of her husband. The villagers of King's Abbot are suspicious. The rumour is that she poisoned her husband and was in love with Roger Ackroyd. When he is found murdered the following day, there is little to go on. Luckily one of the newest residents who has retired to this normally quiet village is none other than Monsieur Hercule Poirot.

More BBC!
Revisado: 09-30-16
Wish BBC would do more of these! And perhaps branch out to other literary works like Bunyan, Addison, Blake, And more. Really makes required college reading transcend from boring to interesting; and further provides context for these older works.
