I really liked the Gulf Coast series she had before this series. This one was really hard to get into unlike the previous one. It was really rather boring, except for the part of the dad dying, and they found out that he had another family secretly.

Very disappointed with this series. Way too short and just STOPS! Come on Goodkind! so far these booklings should have been one book. The greed of trying to produce more books of 5 hours as opposed to The Sword of Truth books at 20 and 30 hours a piece. Knock Knock! Goodkind. Are you there and listening to your fans? We’re begging you to treat us like Sword of Truth fans and give us what we are use to. Longer books for the money we are spending. The story quality is still good. Just not long enough.

Rather boring for Goodkind

The previous books of the sword of truth were very long and one felt that they got their moneys worth. The last two or three books have been very short and not really worth the money spent. Seems like they are trying to get more books out in a shorter amount of time before the story is finished. Very disappointed in Goodkind. Almost like he’s not even the one writing them anymore. The narrator of this book was rather monotone and boring. Please help!
