This is one of my favorite of Peter Tremayne's Sister Fidelma mysteries. The story is intriguing and the mystery is complicated enough to keep the reader guessing well into the book. Tremayne does a great job of weaving the political ideas and customs of a long-forgotten time into his story and brings late seventh century Ireland to life through his words. Caroline Lennon's narration is extremely well done. I highly recommend this book, as well as the entire series.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. Jim Butcher continues to build complexity for his characters and the story they inhabit in The Dresden Files. You can't go wrong with any book in this series. In each book, superb character and plot development advance the overall story of the series while providing a complete story within the individual book. This book is a key part of that.

Would you listen to another book narrated by John Glover?

Yes, but he is not Harry Dresden. John Glover is a fine narrator but just seemed wrong for this story because James Marsters IS the voice of Harry Dresden. I felt like this was someone else reading me the story about Harry and wished I could hear Harry (James Marsters) telling it to me himself!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Both. This book contains plenty of the humor we're used to in The Dresden Files, but there was also quite a bit of thought-provoking reflection, some of which brought tears to my eyes.

What did you love best about Murder on the Orient Express?

This is one of Agatha Christie's best! Intricate story will keep you guessing if you haven't read it before. If you're enjoying it for the second time, you'll appreciate Christie's pacing as she presents all the clues for solving the mystery.
David Suchet reads Hercule Poirot smoothly - so easy to listen to.
