Being a woman of faith and going through trials in my own life, this book was a tribute to perseverance, loyalty, family and most importantly faith. I haven’t enjoyed a book this much since I read Where The Crawdads Sing. Treat yourself to this one.

I read this lovely book and only two days. It’s whimsical lighthearted and just what I needed after this crazy year. This is a great book sitting for on the beach or in the sun in your backyard or maybe even off to places unknown.

I had a hard time investing in the characters. It jumped around so much. I found myself really bored with it. Predictable and few surprises throughout.

While reading this book my mother’s words rang in my ear. “Always give a smile as you pass someone. It might be the only kindness they are shown today. We never know what kind of sh** they are walking through”. It’s so easy to be judge mental. Harder to let people in for that fear of being judged. This is just a dang good book 📚
