Historia
Thinking all monasteries were like the ones he saw in the movies, Jesse Itzler arrived at the New Skete religious community in remote Cambridge, New York, with a shaved head and a suitcase filled with bananas. To his surprise, New Skete monks have most of their hair. They're Russian Orthodox, not Buddhist, and they're also world-renowned dog breeders and authors of dog-training books that have sold in the millions.

Historia
Featuring accounts by practitioners living everyday lives, this introduction to Vipassana meditation provides a way for listeners to learn more about its benefits. Explained is what takes place before, during, and after a 10-day silent meditation retreat. Each participant follows the same discipline: silence, a basic moral code known as the five precepts, a prescribed timetable, a vegetarian diet, and a commitment to practicing only what is taught at the retreat.

confusing
Revisado: 03-27-18
monotone voice and musical tone played after each short story are distracting. can tell when the author is telling his story or the example story until after the musical tones. too many short stories leads to story's confusion

Historia
Forty-one-year Army veteran General (Ret.) Martin Dempsey and 41-year-old UC Berkeley associate professor Ori Brafman have been friends for almost 10 years. Though they have almost nothing in common, their collaboration has produced a powerful message. Their new book, Radical Inclusion, examines today’s leadership landscape and describes the change it demands of leaders. The nature of power is changing and should not be measured by degree of control alone.

Revisado: 03-27-18
The book had very little wisdom. Story example are all over the place and go on and on and on leaving the point - hard to find
