The narration could put you to sleep. She reads in a monotone which was disturbing to listen to. I may have enjoyed this book with a better narrator.

While I have read many of Julie Cantrell’s books and enjoyed them for their Christian inspiration I was so disappointed in both in Perennials and Julie Cantrell. This book put an emphasis on new age spirituality: labyrinths, female spiritual leaders etc as sources of peace, wisdom and redemption rather than showing that the One True God, our Father and source of all that is good, in Him alone is found peace, wisdom and redemption. I kept asking myself how could a Christian promote new age spirituality to her readers. I read this book to the end hoping she would have her characters find their way into the heart of God but that never happened. Christian beware if you chose to read this book? Miss Cantrell-why????
What a big disappointment!

Once again I have loved every minute of Charles Martin’s book. He has a God given talent and I am so glad to have found his stories. Thank you Mr Martin!

Absolutely heart wrenching beautifully written and narrated book of marriage, friendship, unspeakable grief and enduring love. One mans suffering gave life to the people whose lives he touched. His grief led Him to know God’s presence and love and in the end profound joy.

This is a beautifully written book about two women centuries apart. They each had to lose everything they held dear in order to find their one true love, God. In finding Him they found everything that is really important and just like Job their lives were put back together according to God’s plan.

Sierras’ narrator did a wonderful job however I found Mary Catherine’s narrator to be disturbing with her monotone voice. I put up with it because of the story but would have enjoyed it more with a different narrator. It speaks for the richness of the story that I listened to the end putting up with her poor narration.

First, Imogen Church ALWAYS gives an outstanding performance, so it is no surprise that she gives one to this book.

I LOVE Ruth Ware's writing and character building and humor but somehow things didn't come together on this one. It should be called "The "I'm Going To Make It Up As I Go" Game".

Just the summary of the book is misleading, you'll figure that out in the first couple chapters and then somehow low and behold it wasn't? Huh? Exactly!

There is a good (not great) story in here somewhere but the marketing of the book ruined it. So you think your entering into one thing only to find your entering into an entirely different story.

Plus there are chapters of flashbacks which are okay but are not really necessary since the author re tells them in present time...again why?

So if you really really enjoy Imogen Church and Ruth Ware and don't mind being a little bit more than disappointed that this is what came after a two year wait then buy it.

Or am I lying? J/K I honestly wish I was, so disappointed. :(

This is the second book by B.A. Paris whose debut was "Behind Closed Doors". I have to say that book was good but it lost my attention at points. But the ending was well worth it.
This new book will have you from the first page. Imagine you have the perfect life and one night driving past a broken down vehicle causes you to start to lose your memory. Like how to work a microwave or dishwasher, items arriving you never ordered but you did.
This book will keep you till the end and the ending won't let you down.
I have been on such a dry spell, must have started 10 books that had high ratings but were not that good. THIS IS THE BEST BOOK OF 2017 HANDS DOWN.

This story is ABSOLUTELY unbelievable. By that, I mean it COULD NEVER HAPPEN! Not even the best of directors like David Fincher or Quentin Tarantino could ever pull off a storyline such as this and make the audience believe it.

I don't want to ruin anything but let's just say one character has a pivotal revelation that the author I hoped (otherwise??) meant to be the BIG REVEAL but instead it leaves you thinking "how could this character NOT have known this? SERIOUSLY!

To add to the deflation of the story (since the "BIG MOMENT" or "let down" happens with still almost two hours left.

I couldn't finish it, I was so frustrated with the stupidity of that one character that I had to give up.

Spend your "wasteful credit on any Ruth Ware book or a Tana French novel (best one in the series is The Trespasser). You won't be sorry or at least be assured these characters have no major disappointments that catch you off-guard and ruin the book for you.

I couldn't get through this one. The story was all over the place, confusing, full of holes, with no ending. Absolute let down after Red Sparrow.
