Was good up until the last chapter discussing the 2024 US presidential elections. I feel the book could have been concluded without any comments on Trump and Biden. Leave the boot before any presidential conventions and use that as an opener for the next histories to be discovered and written. Easy listen,

Happily better than I had expected. Both story and characters developed well. The twists and turns were well placed and kept me reading.

Uplifting, good for the heart and soul. Light. Entertaining without being heavy. Predictable but not directly.

Easy listen. Intriguing but not HEAVY. Diction was very good, as were the accents. Easy listen while traveling, doing chores, going for a needed walk.

It's a very good start but some redundancies. Ending is very abrupt and reads finalistic. However, additional reading leads to the Templars not totally dissolving or ending. Further reading suggested.

Writing was good, character development good. Occasionally audio sounded like a sound stage but not for long periods. The last chapter very well done. I recommend this audio.

In all open debate, both sides of any issue should be presented. This presentation is arguably against the political power of the Yale Law School and the influence of Donald Trump’s rise to Presidency. So was thus book only about Yale Law School? What about other Law Schools or highly political influencers such as George Soros and their influencers? If this book was to put Trump on the line then it should also cover their opponents at the power of other foundations and political influencers such as that have defended both Bill and Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation and the dollars and amounts of contributions made from foreign countries, both individuals , corporations, and nation, both allies and non publicly recognized allies. And what about the story behind Bill Clinton’s impeachment hearings over Monica Lewinsky and his public denials of their co-joined actions and ongoing affair? Additionally, public review of the individual and collective persons that went to prison over Bill Clinton’s presidential illegal campaign management and fundraising. And also look into Hilary’s campaign tactics for the congressional seat she won in New York state , that she only assumed residency in through her relationship with her husband, the President? And a throughly reviewed account of the whole Benghazi disastrous event. Added to those incidents, Hilary’s personal instigation to the false narrative and notion of Russia Gate? What was the final financial cost to the American people, in real dollars and time, spent on Hilary’s manufacturing and promotion of those false claims in her campaign to become President? If this book was only supposed to be about the power and influence of Yale Law school then there should be a litigate disclosure of apposing political practices by other law schools. If the disclaimer is that there are none, then the authors need to prove by confirmed evidence that there is none.

Don’t judge the book by its cover alone. There is so much insight, many similar, yet dissimilar chapters that are explained through the well developed characters. This is a rich story that explains many of the complexities of the relationships that are broken, destroyed, and innocently formed and reformed by war. Well done. Very well done.

Romance warrior type novel. Well written and narrated. Not heavy when you need or want something to help you pass time, chores, etc. Informative with good character development. As always, Saskia Maarkeveld does a
great job with the narration. I’ll look for more from both the author and the narrator.
