Historia
Kwaku Sai is dead. A renowned surgeon and failed husband, he succumbs suddenly at dawn outside the home he shares in Ghana with his second wife. The news of Kwaku's death sends a ripple around the world, bringing together the family he abandoned years before. Ghana Must Go is their story. Electric, exhilarating, beautifully crafted, Ghana Must Go follows the Sais' journey, moving with great elegance through time and place to share the truths hidden and lies told; the crimes committed in the name of love.

Poetic - Bitter - Sweet - Beautiful
Revisado: 08-09-13
It took me awhile to get in sync with the writer’s style. Tisye writing is poetic, she draws you in but once you are in wow, you feel and see the characters. It truly is a story about family, love, disappointments, hurts, and healing. Tisye beautifully weaved a story so true to life, it left me with a bitter sweetness, but is that not life.

Honest
Revisado: 07-19-13
What did you love best about Americanah?
Adichie is such an powerful voice. Americanah was lite but powerfully honest about race, culture, and relationships. It is one of those books you hate to finish. Adichie is a keen observer of this human experience, especially for people of African descent. I thank her for brilliantly putting it into such a wonderful story. The performance by Adjoa Andoh was great. Loved it!!!!!!

Delightful !!!

Excellent – I enjoyed this book, good historical fiction – It brought back memories of 70’s – weaving facts about the Black Panther Party and human drama –through the eyes of a 11 year-old girl.

A gift
Revisado: 04-24-11
What a wonderful book – it dealt with the pain and hardships African people endured in this country but brought forth a “Spirit” that gave the reader and a people hope – Up lifting – This needs to be a movie. What a gift, thank you Walter Mosley.

Winner of a Commonwealth Writers’ Prize and an Orange Prize for Fiction, Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie continues the literary tradition of Chinua Achebe, one of her greatest influences, in this brilliant collection of stories. Focusing on life’s many clashes—tradition with modernity, African cultures with American—Adichie delivers a series of haunting, character-driven tales.
