Historia
Nineteen-year-old Katrina van Tassel knows she’s a disappointment to her parents, for more reasons than one. But as the only daughter of the most prominent family in Sleepy Hollow, she never imagined that she would be chosen as the next sacrifice. Or that in her attempt to escape, she would instead come face to face with the Horseman himself.

unique take on the Headless Horseman
Revisado: 02-26-24
like the headless horseman dislike. dislike the that the story felt rushed. the character that turn bad finding out was so boring and she died so quickly. the love story between Alex the Headless Horseman and main character was rushed and not developed fully. the story was rushed, the story could have added at least 2 to 3 more hours for characters developed and story long written better

Historia
What's that sound? What would you do if the neighbor you've known since childhood suddenly became a stranger to you? An outsider has arrived, and those who hear the sound he emits begin to change. Suddenly, entire households have begun to disappear. Trevor Burnette has lived in the same small town all his life. When his wife asks for a divorce, he thinks it’s the worst thing that could ever happen to him. But he was wrong. Dead wrong. Because his son is deaf, and those who cannot hear the sound are being murdered.

Historia
All Nick wants to do is take his dying father for a perfect father-son weekend in the Scottish Highlands. It’s not much to ask, is it? A log cabin, a roaring fire, a bottle of fine whiskey, and two days to paper over the cracks in their relationship. However, Nick didn’t plan on making the trip with a dead neighbour in the back of his car. Or the neighbour’s dog. He really didn’t plan on being pursued by a psychotic female assassin intent on collecting body parts.

Historia
Brad Woods has performed a lot of autopsies, but never one like this. The body is purged of all blood. Fear has made Sue Wing run from the darkened school and into night, a fear so powerful she can only name it using the Cantonese myths of her grandmother: Cup-hu-girngsi, the corspe who drinks blood. Reporters like Rich Carter don't believe in the supernatural, but all the signs are pointing to the same conclusion: a vampire is stalking the streets of Rio Verde. No, Rich Carter doesn't believe in such things. Not yet.

It was always a joke. The what ifs and the planning were just conversations to have fun with. Who would be the first to go? Where would people be safe? Who would survive the zombie apocalypse? No one is laughing anymore. Awakening to a nightmare, Dan Foster is forced to flee his suburban Chicago home. Together with his wife Abby and little girl Katie, they begin a dangerous trek across the wintery Midwest in hopes to reconnect with his brother in the heartland of Wisconsin.

Story Content
Revisado: 10-31-16
Would you try another book from James Dean and/or Eric A. Shelman?
Maybe
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
The wife of Dan is such a bitch, it is hard to get past her. I am still listening to the book as I have not finished it but his wife makes me want to just trash the book. Their marriage doesn't sound believable. I mean seriously he almost get frost bite because she is mad at him. It is an Zombie make out for goodness sake.
What does Eric A. Shelman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Maybe I should read it , that way I could just skip over the wife part.
Did This Dying World inspire you to do anything?
not really

A trip to the Pacific Northwest is interrupted by a deadly virus. Fighting to survive, fighting to reunite, Ryan Brant hasn't seen some of his family for 18 years and is flying into Seattle Washington to attend the family reunion. The Brant family is spread out across the country and all are headed to the reunion; some travel by car, some by air, and one in a high-end luxury Motor Coach. The South African Flu has brought the world to its knees, and the vaccine the CDC created has just made the situation worse, much worse.
