Questions???
Revisado: 04-11-16
The story raised questions I think this series would benefit from a prequel to better tell the background story. Also I wonder are they going to continue in a different series Denver's story? Too many questions but beyond that the third book in the series held my attention. I want to know where does Denver go? I want to know more about the other earths. As I said too many questions at the end of the story

Captivating very captivating.

Is this the last book? I hope not. I almost cried at the end. It took a little bit to get used to listening to the first book. The narrator brought the story to life. It has been fun following Antoine's adventures. I am interested in seeing how Nadia develops and how she strengthens her skills. And I wonder if Slvedvana will return to the watch? A very enjoyable listen. I finished this book in three days as opposed to simply listening to it in my spare time everything else had to come to a stop. As I said very very captivating!

All questions answered

Would you listen to The Clockwork Princess again? Why?
Having finished listening to the third book, I'd go back to listen to the series again. Heartache and victory were keenly felt in the third installment.
What did you like best about this story?
I love when Tessa took on the form of the angel to defeat Mortmaine (is that spelled correctly? I listened and never read the book). I also loved that Tessa was able to have her second love as well.
What about Daniel Sharman’s performance did you like?
Mr. Sharman made each character come alive and made them each individual. His voice was very interesting. Very pleasant to listen to.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Currently it is 4:00am. I'd put my earbuds in my ears to listen until I fell asleep. I had to finish to see what's happened next.
Any additional comments?
Having listened to this series, I want to start the mortal instruments again. One question. Wouldn't it have been A nice reward if Tessa, having freed the angel's spirit burned the demon half of allowing her to become a shadow hunter? But then I guess she'd not been immortal. Anyway, this book tied up the loose ends. I'm a sucker for happy endings.

A good book except for...
Revisado: 02-22-12
The narrator. I read the first book but my preference is to listen to my books as I'm a busy person. The voice of the narrator threw me off. I felt like she was reading the book to me as most narrators tend to bring you into the story with them. I had trouble getting into the story as her voice and the way she read the story was very distracting. She improved with the second half of the book, and I hope she is better with the third book but I'd have not chosen her in the first place. I enjoyed this book as it gets into the heart of the struggle that the people go through. I held my breathe wondering if
Katness and Peeta were going to make it to the end. All in all I felt that this book was an excellent stand alone book and not just a bridge to a third book. I look forward to getting into the last installment in this series.

Historia
For centuries, mariners have spun tales of gargantuan waves, 100-feet high or taller. Until recently scientists dismissed these stories - waves that high would seem to violate the laws of physics. But in the past few decades, as a startling number of ships vanished and new evidence has emerged, oceanographers realized something scary was brewing in the planet’s waters. They found their proof in February 2000, when a British research vessel was trapped in a vortex of impossibly mammoth waves in the North Sea - including several that approached 100 feet.

I learned more than I ever wanted to know about surfing and I didn't finish the book. Kudos to the promoters of this book as it caught my attention but couldn't keep my attention. Oh well you win some you lose some. Worth losing

An Awesome 'Read'!
Revisado: 05-18-11
This book drawns you in and once in it is difficult to get out. Mr. Cronin brings you into his book so much so that you feel as though you are in with the characters, always on the periphery, feelling their victories, their losses, the joy and sadness and always the overwhelming sense of fear. I don't have one favorite character but I love being with them (well maybe Peter, Alecia, Amy?) . I was there in the bunkers, in the desert, on the mountain, in the cold........ The ending!! It leaves you wanting more and yet it was the best place to end this book. I just finished listening to the end of this book and went searching to find the sequel. A year!! Really??!! I've already marked it on my calendar. I rarely re-read or re-listen to a book. Once it's over, I walk away and I'm done. I plan to re-listen to this book just to cover areas that I may have missed. I totally enjoyed the narrators. they carried the story to me so effectively that I was able to listen without distraction. I enjoyed their voices. The characters came alive because of the narrators. Makes me want to leave my day job and try my hand at narration. This book, a job well done.
