Historia
Long before the coming of the Imperium, the realm of Ultramar was ruled by Roboute Guilliman, the last Battle King of Macragge. Even after learning of his true heritage as a primarch son of the Emperor of Mankind, he strove to expand his domain as efficiently and benevolently as possible, with the XIII Legion Ultramarines as his alone to command.

Awful
Revisado: 05-19-25
Dear heavens! Do you know who the most boring primarch is? Go no further than the terrible voice acting and endless pontificating that this terrible rendition offers!

LGBTQ Agenda: Otherwise Ruins a good story.
Revisado: 12-04-24
The author begins with a story that is largely indifferent to sex, gender, and sexuality. Certainly, I understand that the vampire myth carries a bit of the erotic into it. That said, this third installation is a celebration of teen lesbianism nothing more. It’s a bait and switch. What began as a great story, turns into a gaggle of female british accents which are nearly indistinguishable. I challenge you to try and easily differentiate the female roles. Impact Winter is nothing short of an homage to modern Marvel/Disney films. I am fine if you want to “empower” young women in literature and film. Market your product as such, and I will simply choose not to watch it… just like “The Marvels”. If you want to place this audio book in your Pride genre, then do it. You simply ruined a potentially great story with another “woke” agenda!

The Warmaster’s horde advances through the fire and ash of Terra's dying breaths, forcing the loyalists back to the Delphic Battlement—the very walls of the Sanctum Imperialis. Angron, Primarch of the World Eaters and Herald of Horus, has achieved immortality through annihilation—now he leads the armies of the damned in a wrathful tide, destroying all before them as the warp begins its poisonous corruption of Terra's very soil.

Painful, lumbering….
Revisado: 11-16-22
Mortis is painful. I am not necessarily referring to the battle between titans. The battles between Mortis and Ignatium titans was enjoyable, however their is nothing personal or relatable with the enemy titans. It’s all very impersonal. Thusly, this is the only book, at this point, within the siege of terra, that just seems irrelevant, because their is no connection to be had between reader and the book.
Again, their is an emotional connection between the ourselves, the reader, and the primarchs, you will be hard pressed to make a connection with the titans of Mortis.

Historia
Of all the Emperor’s sons who fell to Chaos, it is perhaps Magnus the Red whose tale is the most tragic. Sanctioned because of his desire for knowledge, chastised, judged, and shattered to his very elements – there is much for the Crimson King to feel vengeful for. Yet revenge is not the only thing that draws him to Terra alongside the Warmaster’s besieging armies. He seeks something, a fragment, the missing piece of himself that lies within the most impregnable place on the planet – the inner sanctum of the Imperial Palace.

My favorite in the Siege of Terra
Revisado: 10-16-22
There is one simple reason why this particular installment was so supremely satisfying. All of these works always interweave multiple story lines into one larger narrative. I am always so bored by them. My interest lies with the Emperor, the Primarchs, Astartes, Custodians, even Malcador.
Fury of Magnus doesn’t waste our time with the story of soldiers and their perspectives. It’s the Primarch and his sons and their conflicts, thoughts, and story.
I loved it!

Historia
From executive producers of The Walking Dead and Travis Beacham, the writer of Pacific Rim, comes a heart-stopping Audible Original featuring a brilliant British cast. It’s the near future and seven years since a comet hit the earth and blotted out the sun. The world is a dark, frozen landscape. And then, beastly creatures emerge and take over. A story of apocalypse, horror, and adventure, Impact Winter is a wholly original new saga created just for Audible with immersive 3D audio that dares you to pop in your earbuds and listen in the dark.

Unexpected, Compelling, Enthralling
Revisado: 03-13-22
This could not have been a better surprise, provided by Audible free of charge. On my families trip this weekend, I devoured the story. Impact Winter was a phenomenal rendition on the age old vampire story. The voice acting and character development was absolutely thrilling.
Easily, I pictured the main characters in my minds eye. I promise anyone who gives this story a chance, that they will be left hungry to see what becomes if Darcy, Felix, Hope, and Rooke.
I don’t know if a sequel or series of books is in the hopper, but I certainly hope so. The only critique is the language. I honestly believe you can be gritty, and keep an audience thrilled and inside the story without so much profanity.
