WOW! Just WOW!
Revisado: 08-13-20
Just when you thought it wasn't possible, Nazri hits you with another great book! As with all of Nazri's great writing, the story line is fresh and new as it picks up where the last book left off! Dustin is back and he has a problem. Rifts are opening up everywhere, and when they do, Dustin is near as dark forces emerge. The Eldritch are trying to come through, and if that were not enough, someone is trying to kill him.Dustin has power, but needs more. Only the Midnight Convocation may be able to help him. The problem is, it may cost him his soul.
In this installment, Dustin explores and learns more about his power. The world building expands as we begin to learn a lot more about the Gods, the Eldritch, and the Lorica. There is more drama, intrigue, and danger but it does not change our hero's snarky outlook on it all!
Trust in Dustin!

Incredible!
Revisado: 08-13-20
Marty Essen has done it again! Marty and Nellie are back and this time they have 20 seconds to say goodbye to earth and take a well deserved vacation before they head to Chrissie and Tina's planet Krichardia. Their adventure takes them far in the past and into a far distant future where earth has suffered a less than glorious life. Enter Jesus (again), Ronald Reagan, and a few other surprise guest starts and you have another riotous adventure!
I never thought Marty Essen could top his previous two books but I was mistaken. Marty's comedic take on earth, history, climate change, politics, and religion just keeps getting better and better. Nate Maughan's narration is once again spot on! The publishers warning is well deserved and should be heeded. If you don't have at least a few liberal ideas, you should read this anyway. You might just learn something!
I am very hopeful a 4th book is in the works as I can't wait!

Another great installment in a great series!
Revisado: 08-13-20
What a great book. This is the next installment of the Kings Blades. Although a stand alone story, it blends very well in the series. This book follows Wasp and Raider as they are chosen to become King's blades, but they refuse... This story is full of action and history that keep you engaged until the last page. Dave's world building adds to the book before but also stands very well on its own. Austin Vanfleet once again delivers a great performance. If you liked the first book, you will love this one. I can't wait until the next installment!

Love this Series!!!
Revisado: 07-05-20
Shami Stovall delivers yet another great installment of the Frith Chronicles. Volke and the Frith Guild are headed to Thronehold for the Sovereign Dragon Tournament and information on the legendary, god-like world serpent. Always finding himself in some seriously unique situations, Volke and the guild, once again, find themselves set against a background of mystery, intrigue, deceit, treachery, sacrifice, and loss. The introduction of new and unique mystical creatures, in addition to the exploration and demonstration of their ability was brilliantly done. This book delves deeper into the emotions and motivations of the characters, and with several truly emotional scenes, this book makes for an amazing addition to the series. Brian Wiggins has great energy and range and delivers the great narration you have grown accustomed too!
This book is both riveting and engaging, making it hard to stop listening to. If you liked the previous two books, you will love this one!

Epic Fantasy and Narration!
Revisado: 05-17-20
The Infinity Mantle is the start to an excellent series. Darkness is coming and two worlds teeter on the brink of destruction. 14 companions are forced to play a game against the Dara-Witch Infinity in which the prize is the salvation of the world. This epic tale includes Rayne of the Mantle, a reluctant sorcerer with power greater than what he realizes. an imprisoned ruler who may be the only hope for 2 worlds, and Taranis of the Guardians, who is summoned to witness what will happen should they fail. Although the book started off a little slow, it picks up and maintains a good pace. Elaina Davidson uses excellent character development and world building catapult this book high into the world of epic fantasy.
What can I say about Thomas Bestwick's superior narration? Just that. Thomas brings the characters and world alive as only he could. I have listened to other novels by him and he never disappoints!
If you like epic fantasy, superior narration, and rich, engrossing characters, this is the series for you.

Wow. What a listen!
Revisado: 05-17-20
Dutton James is an Autistic artist creating some of the best and most bizarre works of art the world has ever seen. Emma is a stalker like woman doing all she can to to uncover the secrets of Dutton's work. This tale of greed, family, and suspense makes for quite an exhilarating tale. There are several bizarre twists that had me laughing and cringing at the same time. Michael Sandels does great job bringing out the humor and darkness in all of his characters not only through his writing but also in his narration. While the book is a quick listen of just 6 hours, it is packed with suspense and intrigue. This book does not disappoint.
Looking forward to more from Michael.

Fantastic!
Revisado: 05-17-20
I have been a long time fan of Nazri Noor and this series just keeps getting better. On a night out from the Boneyard, Dustin and his pals go to pop concert and things careen downhill from there. Hundreds dead and a rogue angel bent on destroying humanity, make for a story that comes fast out of the gate and never slows down. Throw in an Imp, a mysteriously tattooed man, Mammon coming to collect on a favor owed, and a healthy dose of snark, and you have one heck of a story you can stop listening to.
Luke Daniels continues translate an amazing story and nail every performance. Can't wait for the next installment!

A good start to the series
Revisado: 05-17-20
This was a fun story and a good listen. Belwynn and Soren are brother and sister with some awesome abilities and an interesting relationship. A dagger has been stolen and Belwynn and Soren are leading the team tasked with its recovery. There are a lot of characters to follow in story. While main characters are well written, some of the other were not developed quite as much as I would have like. With this being said, it did not detract from the book as it moved at a good pace and kept you guessing till the end witha few very well placed twists and turns.
The dual narration of Greg Patmore and Bridget Thomas was well done and a nice touch. I enjoyed this book and I am on my way to the second installment.

The world isn't how they left it. When the bunker airlocks release them after 20 years in hibernation, the survivors find a silent, barren world outside. But they are not alone. There is a presence here, alive in the dust - spirits of the earth, benevolent and malicious as they interact with the human remnant. Milton is haunted by a violent past he's unable to escape, despite the superhuman speed the spirits give him. Not interested in bearing the next generation, Daiyna is determined to destroy the flesh-eating mutants lurking in the dark, pierced by her night-vision.

What a great start!
Revisado: 05-17-20
This book is fantastic. Milo has created a masterpiece. Deep and complex characters coupled with some exquisite world building creates a landscape that is riveting, intriguing, and hard to put down. After living in a survival bunker for 20 years, Milton, Luther, and Daiyna, just to name a few, grapple with a post-apocalyptic world that is far different from the one they remember. Each one exits their bunker to discover a power or ability with little information as to its origin. Each chapter is written from the characters point of view, exploring their, strengths, weaknesses, and motivations. While this can be confusing, Milo makes it flow easily and add rather that detract from the story. The story moves at a good pace with lots of action and not overly graphic. Steve Campbell's narration is excellent and perfectly on point. I look forward to listening to more of him in this series.
