Why is The Book of Enoch so important to anyone interested in Biblical history? The answer is simple: It is directly quoted in the New Testament by Jude (vv.14-15). Themes of the book referenced in 2 Peter 2:1. Jesus also used content from The Book of Enoch in many of his sermons in Matthew and Luke. In this text, you will hear the word of God through this amazing document. We will take this amazing journey together and learn why this text is not an official book of the Bible.

Easy to listen to because the narrator reads it clear and not too fast. This and many other writings and books should have been included in the bible.

Historia
Erich von Daniken has exhaustively researched and analyzed the great world religions, their myths and belief structures, in an effort to find an answer to a question that has fascinated humans for millennia: who, or what, were the Gods described in ancient stories? His extraordinary conclusion? The Gods were not metaphysical beings born of humanity's overactive imagination, but extraterrestrials who left traces of their presence everywhere on Earth.

same old same old
Revisado: 04-25-15
Its the same as all of Eric van Daniken books. He's always bringing up tons of examples and evidence that backs up any of his claims. But the majority of the brainwashed population cannot learn anything else new or change their beliefs and anything including their views on their own religions or any other religions of the world. And the scientists remain afraid of properly documenting and analyzing the true facts before them. Because they may get ridiculed or laughed at for even thinking such different thoughts. I am glad that Erik von Daniken at least has the balls to bring up these many controversial questions. The narrator was good too.

Historia
Erich von Däniken again shows his flair for revealing truths that his contemporaries have missed. After closely analyzing hundreds of ancient and apparently unrelated texts, he is now ready to proclaim that human history is nothing like the world religions claim---and he has the proof! In History Is Wrong, von Däniken takes a closer look at the fascinating Voynich manuscript, which has defied all attempts at decription since its discovery, and makes some intriguing revelations about the equally incredible book of Enoch.

Past due library books
Revisado: 04-02-15
I think it was a very good book. I think the narration was very good. I think the topic of the metal library was very interesting. But the Golden Books are way overdue and should be found and accessible to the public. So whoever has possession of them or knows of where they exist should releace their full knowledge. The only thing I didn't like about the book is that Erik von Daniken doesn't get the respect he deserves so therefore he has to devote a lot of the chapters to defending his beliefs or his ways of investigating. I think Eric is an honest man and is only searching for the truth of our history and our creation.

In this follow-up to Erich von Däniken's worldwide best seller Chariots of the Gods, the author reveals startling new evidence that could prove his theory that ancient Earth had contact with aliens. Von Däniken claims that an alien race helped to create the pyramids of Egypt, a claim he based upon the ruins themselves.

Lots of names I'm not familiar with
Revisado: 03-03-15
I think it was a good book and was narrated well. The only problem I had with it was trying to concentrate to get the story and message out of each chapter because there were so many different names of gods and kings. Erich von Daniken always seems to just want to get to the real truth of everything, but he is blocked and discredited way too much. It is sad that the human race does not show more interest in our true creator and true history.

Historia
According to Sumerian scholar Zecharia Sitchin, a superior race of beings once inhabited our world. In The 12th Planet—the product of 30 years of intensive research—Sitchin persuasively argues that humanity sprang from extraterrestrial forebears. In this remarkable account, you'll hear the story of how these ancient visitors traveled to Earth from the stars and planted the genetic seed that would ultimately blossom into a remarkable species—the human being.

And that's the way it was, until proven differently. Very interesting topic that was described well by the author. The narration was good also. I highly recommend all people with religious backgrounds and others to get this book. Maybe a road trip to the Grand Canyon would open people's eyes more to the history of the world and the great flood. If the Great Flood could carve away all that tons and tons of rock and acres and acres of land then it can easily push some stones around at Puma Punku.

Never afraid to put forward controversial theories if justified by the data, Erich von Daniken here examines the huge amount of accumulated evidence that points to Earth having been subject to countless visits from extraterrestrials for many years. The dawn of a new century, the building of a new space station, and triumphs in the exploration of space have brought greater interest than ever in the possibility of extraterrestrial life.

Deep thoughts and conclusions.
Revisado: 02-13-15
A very good book that I enjoyed. What I enjoy about Eric's books is that it makes you have deep thoughts into topics that will always be controversial, but still gives you the freedom to make your own decisions whether you think they are true or false. Eric never seems to force his opinions on anyone. I would highly recommend this to a person that has questions and doesn't just use blind faith that some religions try to force you to think or do. I consider myself to be a "religious but open minded man". In some ways I think this book has made me more religious . I will continue to say daily prayers to our Creator and give thanks for our many blessings and for love and peace and knowledge for all humanity.

Were human beings created by powers from outer space? Did extraterrestrial giants build the megaliths of Malta and the menhirs of Brittany? Was the Ark of the Covenant a machine built by the astronaut gods? In Signs of the Gods?, Erich von Daniken travels far and wide around the globe to study the many strange phenomena that all point to one conclusion - that many thousands of years ago, Earth was visited by a race of superhuman powers and intelligence.

I think it's time.
Revisado: 02-08-15
I think it's time. Time for all people in the world to open their eyes and open their minds. Including all religious leaders and followers to speak truthfully about our history. Also make public the secret books files and documents. I think we're old enough and smart enough and can accept anything as long as its the truth. This was only my 4th audiobook so far and my third that was written by Erich von Daniken. Over the last several years I've I watched many shows on UFOs and Stonehedge and the pyramids and Erich von Daniken is in most of them and because of the way he asked the questions and shows the evidence is the only reason that I've read or listen to any of his books. The narration was good and the contents of the book was presented well. I think we need to keep praying to our Creator and giving thanks for all the blessings we humans have received. Doesn't it make Jesus a hybrid, because his mother was human and his father was a God ........or Alien? Who cares ........we were made by divine entity. I'm just happy to be here and be part of the plan. Whatever my purpose in this life is. Amen

Revisado: 01-29-15
Keep in mind. This was written in 1968. I think the book was great. I think Erich von Daniken had a lot of nerve writing this first book about such a controversial issue. Even today, there is a lot of people that still struggle or are afraid to except change of old knoledge and beliefs. So then that makes them not willing to admit the facts that can be clearly shown by several reliable , witnesses, scientist and many more people besidees Erich von Daniken. Also keep in mind that there's 50 more years of scientific evidence witnesses and facts that were in the book . I thought the narrator was good too.
