She created characters that carried the show. The secondary characters we're sufficiently composed so as to play their roles effectively. This is particular true in the case of her parents. They were clearly defined.
I enjoyed hating them at different points in the book. I shared her hurt from the injury of the words

She is certainly a performer. You even ask us to rate the performance. Her level of competence is so high that calling her a narrator is ahave have a separate category of performeas compared to those who

I have listened to a couple 100 novels through Audible. I've enjoyed most of them very much. those narrated by Jessica Boyd, and only a few othes, deserve to be given the title of performer. Those who have overwhelming support/ratings and reviews should be recognized with this designation. Other narrators should be rated as "Naration" not "Performance".

I'm sure that this has been thought of before and recommended a number of times. Consider this one more time!

Dreadful ending to a story with so much possibility. Did she really write it?

There was so much possibility and it dragged on oppressivly. He was ridiculous. Anyone could have seen what her needs were. Heck they were never married with no consummation. the last 8 chapters were slow torture.

She absolutely took every advantage over him

This female person looked after her brother's best friend, whom she later admitted she "Loved", She then proceeded to make choices that would have ruined his reputation, made him a laughing stock amongst his military peers and enlisted men, turned a very happy man bereft of a wife she knew had deep feelings for her following one day after consumatimg what she convinced him was authentic. Then she capt it off by a short letter that admitted her unforgivable behavior and jumping on a ship, leaving him to deal with the explanations to his extended family and his peers who knew all about their marriage. He can't marry another as he can't divorce and his friends will come home asking after her. She is known in his circles.

Absolutely missed on this one. Most who listen to this book will see it only from her perspective. Try his. if she Loved him she would have told him and let the chips fall.

Poorly written. it may have been a lack of time to clean it up. I can't believe she wrote this!! Really? She couldn't have.

the behavior of the main character was reprehensible. His treatment of her boarded on criminal. Putting anyone in the circumstances its beyond understanding. to the point of impossible. I kept hoping there was something to explain his behavior, which never came. Trying to protect his sister by first compromising and then putting her in a circumstance where she would have a baby six or seven months after her marriage is

A treat!

Short and quite sweet. they were well written so that their length did not in a y way disappoint. The reader was very effective in the enhancements of a great story. Too often a weak performer draws attention away with voice inflections that are forced or inappropriate. Well done. I really didn't expect to like the format but it worked.
