Historia
After the settling dust of the demon uprising and two years of peace, rumblings from the Menzoberranzan drow have Jarlaxle nervous. Worried his allies may be pulled into a Civil War between the great Houses, he is eager to ensure Zaknafein is armed with weapons befitting his skill, including one in particular. A powerful artifact, the sword known as “Cutter” has started wars, corrupted its users, and spilled the blood of many, many people. Nonetheless - or maybe because of that - the rogue Jarlaxle and a small group will go on an expedition looking for the weapon’s last wielder.

drow and Orcs living and loving Harmony. I wish I was kidding.
Revisado: 12-28-24
it has to take one of the most racist Disturbed Minds in the world to make an allegory of the drow and the Orcs in regards to black people. this is what happens when you allow racist woke people to destroy a franchise even though they don't read your books or purchase your products. the highlight of this entire story ends up being a rugby match between the drow and the Orcs in an attempt to do something special for a Make-a-Wish kid. again I wish I was kidding. add to that did we go with discovering an unknown ancient Drow civilization because it's too soon to come up with another Dwarven one? God forbid you do something original. I guess we'll get the next lost ancient Dwarven civilization in the next series of books what does it make it now number four? but take heart they don't just steal from themselves at least in the end we get to watch our heroes Frozen in carbonite as a Millennium Falcon.. I mean Guinevere runs off as the only hope to save save our Intrepid Heroes. again I wish I was kidding. I'm a big fan of the series obviously I've gotten through this many books but this was a miserable slog it is hands down the worst concept I have ever encountered in Salvatore's books. if you're unsure about reading this one just know upfront it's complete drivel and really not worth anybody's time. it truly breaks my heart to say this.

pleasant surprise.
Revisado: 08-30-24
these kinds of of books usually lean towards being formulaic and stale. this was well written to the point that I didn't want to shut it down at any point in fact I've binged through the whole thing in two days. add to that the person doing the reading is extremely skilled. I'd much rather listen to him than hear it with my own voice.

Historia
Few novels have had as profound an impact on American culture as On the Road. Pulsating with the rhythms of 1950s underground America, jazz, sex, illicit drugs, and the mystery and promise of the open road, Kerouac’s classic novel of freedom and longing defined what it meant to be “beat” and has inspired generations of writers, musicians, artists, poets, and seekers who cite their discovery of the book as the event that “set them free”.

beautiful writing with no Direction.
Revisado: 04-10-23
Kerouac paints a mosaic like no one else can. Sadly the story does not have Direction and add insult to injury the characters are all drug addicts and Psychopaths by the end of the book I found I despised every single one of them. For me a happy ending would have been all of them ending up in a fiery death. Sadly that curbed the enjoyment a lot. I would find another Kerouac book save this for some time when you're desperate for one and you don't really care what it is.

For Garrick fans.
Revisado: 03-25-22
there is a little political Intrigue in this book but truthfully this is more about being able to spend time with the characters. don't pick this up if you're looking for something with action. but if you love Garrick you shouldn't miss this one. heck I've always hated Catherine Pulaski and now I actually kind of like her. the biggest surprise is just how much better Julian Bashir is when he's in a constant vegetative state. I honestly enjoy the fox quite a bit.

Just didn't do it for me
Revisado: 02-06-22
First it had excellent and enjoyable character development. Sadly nothing else worked. The first three books used almost identical macguffins making it feel repetitive. Next. It delivers dozens and dozens of interesting aspects to the world sadly raising tons questions and never answeing even one. I wouldn't have been surprised to encounter Micky mouse eating orphans with no rhyme nor reason for it. After 6 books of this I'm not sticking around just get the same treatment again. last thing, it has a universal word for swearing that has dozens of different meanings. The use of "shog" is so prolific in this book and it would make a Smurf stand up and say aren't you overdoing it?

Historia
The "Fox Mole" delivers a funny, opinionated memoir of his eight years at the unfair, unbalanced Fox News Channel. An Atheist in the FOXhole has everything that liberals and Fox haters could desire: details about how Fox’s right-wing ideology is promoted throughout the channel; why specific angles and personalities are the only ones broadcasted; the bizarre stories Fox anchors actually believed (and passed on to the public); and tales of behind-the-scenes mayhem and mistakes, all part of reporting Fox’s version of the news.

Meh
Revisado: 03-10-21
That's it. Meh
This book is just autobiographical and to be honest I didn't dislike the author but I have little to no interest in the man's life. He offers up literally no information about fox that you have not already concluded and know yourself. Unless you've lived under a rock for the last 20 years.
