This is an extraordinary and imaginative novel! as you travel through time with these endearing trans human characters, you go on a deep dive into what it means to be human. This listen is absolutely captivating and rich, so profound that I had to listen to it twice and i’m sure will listen again and again. The multiple narrators brings these characters to life and make them so personable. This story is beautiful and very thought provoking.

I loved everything about this book! The small mountain town in Montana, salt of the Earth, real believable and lovable characters, heartwarming story, and a great narrator. I highly recommend this listen. It was wonderful.

Captivating

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and I am so impressed by Shannon McNear‘s writing! The history, the characters, the vivid settings and deep spiritual content made this book Breathtaking. The narrator was fine once I reduced the playback speed. I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves historical fiction, especially with deep Christian content.

A great historical fiction romance!

This was a never a dull moment, captivating, dual timeline story that really held my attention. The historical backdrop. of the Alamo with its surrounding events were very interesting. In addition, there was a very intriguing mystery surrounding a family heirloom that brought the two timelines together. The romance was really good endnot overwhelming in anyway. The faith expressed was beautiful and real. Great characters and character development. I highly recommend this book. It was a great listen with an excellent narrator.

A beautiful masterpiece

This book captures the breathtaking beauty yep perilous wilderness frontier of Kentucky in the late 1700s. The characters in this book captured my heart. This is a very real, captivating and heart wrenching story. I read this book years ago and it has always been a favorite and listening to the audio was wonderful. The narrator is perfect for this book. I highly recommend this audiobook for anyone who loves great historical fiction and appreciates excellent writing.

Beautiful inspirational story

This was a very beautifully written, an important story. Covers many important issues, including religious hypocrisy, and the transforming power of a genuine relationship with God. I loved the Enoch character but, I found many of the other characters a bit superficial. It was still a really good book and I recommended. The narrator was excellent.

I was disappointed that the recording ended on December 26.

Brilliant action plus very informative

I liked everything about this book! The story is very believable, and the characters are very relatable and real. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who has an interest in astronomy and Bible prophecy. This book is absolutely brilliant, and very captivating and enjoyable, to listen to. as a real cliffhanger ending.

This was a very powerful and believable story and pax a strong message.The books in this series kept getting better with each one and The character growth was wonderful the ending was very satisfying.
I would recommend this series for anyone from junior high age up.

this is a masterful dystopian picture of a godless beast system and glorious spiritual good underground. I am really looking forward to see how the story ends! It’s been a captivating and satisfying journey so far.
