Awesome Story
Revisado: 06-21-17
A good contemporary romance with a bit of suspense. This is a great story with a few unexpected twists. I thought the narrator did a great job with even the men's voices & she did an awesome job of making the story come alive.

Historia
What started as a flu outbreak on a military base proves deadlier than Ebola. Sympatico Syndrome is unlike anything the world has ever seen. Victims' behavior is changing to accommodate the rapid spread of the virus. Former Navy epidemiologist Cole Evans is well aware of the rare, infectious diseases the military studies. He also knows the government's stance on sharing information with the public, so if the media has already learned about the disease, then it's too late to contain the outbreak.

Exciting & fast paced story
Revisado: 06-18-17
Especially exciting compared to my usual fare ( mostly historicals). Very thought provoking. Probably what life would really be like following a pandemic. Very well written & excellent narration. I had a little trouble at first distinguishing the different persons speaking. Either Scott Berrier got better as he went along or more likely, I got used to his voice. He has an especially deep, rich voice which didn't seem particularly suited for the female voices at first, but which I began to appreciate more & more as the story progressed.

Great story
Revisado: 06-13-17
LOVE this author & narrator!!! A lot of the problems people face in these stories stem from a lack of communication, but that mirrors real life. Reagan's narration seems to fit the story & bring it alive. I also like that Sarah is mad at God. One of the many reasons non believers have given me for not believing. If there is a God, he doesn't care about me. This gives Brock & others a chance to share the Gospel without being preachy.

Sweet Story
Revisado: 06-12-17
I normally eschew contemporary romance & prefer historicals or mysteries, or stories that are both. This story however, is both well written & well narrated. I have read too many Christian stories where the characters seem superficial or the story seems preachy. The people in this one are well written ( & made even more real by the narration) & seem to be genuine, either truly living their faith or struggling with it.

Exciting Story
Revisado: 06-12-17
It was a little hard to follow at first, because I have trouble with names & sometimes have trouble keeping track of who is who in a long involved story like this. It is very well narrated however & I was soon totally engrossed. I somewhat hated for it to end. Although it's a fairly long story, the writing & narration were both excellent & I was never bored. I now need to find time to read or listen to the other 2 books in the trilogy.

Excellent Story

I normally don't like stories told in first person, especially when the main character is female. Therefore, I had a little trouble staying interested at first. However, due to the great story & awesome narration, I soon found myself hanging on every word. It probably also helped that while I love learning history, I have never had any patience with boring school books & have always preferred to learn history by reading novels. I can't wait for the sequel!!!

Wonderful Story!!!
Revisado: 05-20-17
I had read some of Louisa May Alcott's stories when I was younger, but had forgotten just how good they are. This one is no exception. Full of little life lessons and fun adventures that are not only entertaining for young people, but witty enough to still remain interesting to adults also. This narrator does the voices so well, it truly helps in the understanding and enjoyment of the tale. I especially liked that she has a lovely singing voice and I loved listening to the old songs in the story, most of which I hadn't heard before.

Great story
Revisado: 05-16-17
I was kept on the edge of my seat by the great story and excellent narration as Lisa struggles to figure out who she is after finding that her birth certificate belongs to a dead baby. I normally like a male better for doing men's voices, but I still had no problem identifying with her boyfriend Pete, possibly partly because his goofy sense of humor is very similar to mine. Some people may not appreciate that this narrator does not try for an English or an Australian accent, but I know from experience that I would have found the story much harder to follow if she had. This narrator helps you to feel Lisa's tangled emotions as she searches for her idenity.
