Great Book that could do without political references
Revisado: 11-27-24
I have thoroughly enjoyed this book. Until we get to the point where President Trump is brought up and the idea that democratic women of power are the voice of all women. So much wonderful things to say to say in this book. To invalidate the concept of understanding some of the readers by implying that the writers idea of right and wrong are now at the end based on her political beliefs as final that automatically vilify any reader that has a different opinion. So much for listening to a friend without forming an opinion first. I will take all the great points from this book but will not seek out another book knowing that political opinions run strong enough to void out the unbiased she almost. Why go all the way through a book to vilify any woman who doesn’t match you politically. That concept is what is causing the movement to put the woke woman and man in their place. If you want to be understood…you have to respect the views of others.

I haven't been home for Christmas in eight years. That's about to change. This year, I'm traveling to my small hometown to convince my producer to make me the permanent host of Good Day Denver. The plan: Charm viewers by sharing my favorite family Christmas traditions and, in turn, get the likes, clicks, and shares to land the job. Not the plan: Run into my ex-boyfriend. In my house. For Christmas. Here he is, a guest of my mother, who apparently had more trouble letting go of Max Weber than I did.

Written so well you can see the characters as she is writing about them.

Wasn’t really sure if I would enjoy and I enjoyed it so much I want to know what happens next for Merin and Max. Loved how the writer takes you through all their emotions, the good, the bad, the anger and joy. And brings full circle a beautiful life lesson for each of us.

Historia
As a board-certified neuropsychologist, Dr. Michelle Bengtson sees the devastation of depression. Early on, she practiced the most effective treatments and prescribed them for her clients. But when she experienced depression herself, she found that the treatments she had recommended were lacking. Her experience showed her the missing component in treating depression.

Incredible book for the depressed christian
Revisado: 01-02-23
Wonderful book! I feel like someone actually understands what it feels like to suffer from depression and describe it. And better yet understands it isn’t all able to be treated like a text book formula. Thank you! A few more rounds with this book and hopefully seeing more joy and peace will continue to grow and grow for me. I chose this book because of the topic and then saw the writers name, I once worked with a Michelle Bengtson in Illinois. Figured I was being guided to this book, and I definitely was! Thank you!!
