Historia
The Constitution of Liberty is considered Hayek's classic statement on the ideals of freedom and liberty, ideals that he believes have guided - and must continue to guide - the growth of Western civilization. Here, Hayek defends the principles of a free society, casting a skeptical eye on the growth of the welfare state and examining the challenges to freedom posed by an ever-expanding government.

Some good points
Revisado: 03-07-23
There were some good points but overall, it seemed long winded with a wandering thought process.

Historia
The English philosopher and physician John Locke (1632 - 1704) is widely regarded as one of the most influential of Enlightenment thinkers. His work had a significant effect on the development of epistemology and political philosophy. The Second Treatise on Civil Government places sovereignty in the hands of the people, as Locke's fundamental argument is that people are equal and invested with natural rights in a state of nature in which they live free from outside rule.

An interesting journey
Revisado: 03-02-23
This was an interesting look into the mind of one of the great thinkers of his time. However, the vocal cadence of the narrator was difficult to deal with.

was written for a 12 year old pervert
Revisado: 10-28-22
This story lacked so much substance. The 12 year old Chloe asked mature questions that a 30 year old woman would ask a man. The story telling is so lacking. I hope they'll return my credit.

Writing in a lively manner that does not require any prior knowledge of economics, Thomas Sowell exposes some of the most popular fallacies about economic issues, including many that are widely disseminated in the media and by politicians.

Thomas Sowell at his best.
Revisado: 07-15-22
The author is a genius. This book is definitely worth reading. As is often common in several of his books, Sowell takes subjects he has visited before and looks at them from a different perspective necessary to make the target argument he was aiming at in his current thesis.

Historia
Published in 1922 during those dark and dreary years of socialism’s near-complete triumph, Socialism stunned the socialist world. Mises has given us a profoundly important treatise that assaults socialism in all its guises, a work that discusses every major aspect of socialism and leaves no stone unturned. A few of the numerous topics discussed include the success of socialist ideas; life under socialism: art and literature, science and journalism; economic calculation under socialism; the ideal of equality; and Marx’s theory of monopolies.

The Best Book On Economics, Ever
Revisado: 05-02-22
This book may be the best book ever written about economics. Written by one of the greatest economists of the twentieth century, Milton Friedman, along with his wife, Rose, the Friedmans lay out their analysis of the economic system, especially, that of capitalism, in a way that is easy for the common reader to understand. I highly recommend this book.

Historia
One of the great economists of the 20th century, Milton Friedman has always challenged the prevailing economic orthodoxy. At the same time, his work has become popular because it is engagingly written and because it helps in practical prediction. Thanks to Friedman, money is now regarded as a far more powerful factor than it had been before. It offers the prospect of permanently controlling the inflation that has become the most important economic problem of our age.

Although reading Friedman’s works is highly recommended, this does a good job of summarizing Friedmans’s overall views on economics. It is definitely worth revisiting.
