A slow start but with potential

I will admit that it took me a while to get into this book. This first book felt like the story progressed a bit slowly. I also found some of the dialog a bit childish. It occasionally felt like I was listening to young teens instead of adults. That being said it did get better as the book went on. I am very curious to unravel the mysterious that have been presented in book one.

The narrators did a fabulous job with the characters. The accents were fabulous. I look forward to hearing more from them in book two.

BDSM IS A FORM OF THERAPY

I don't normally write reviews to address other people's reviews but I just couldn't let this one stand. BDSM can be and is often used as a form of therapy for sexual abuse survivors. BDSM isn't always just a fun kinky good time. If you aren't truly educated about the lifestyle and only get your information from BDSM romance books please don't make unfounded comments about it. Yes this, like so many books, bends a bit of reality by pushing a therapy session into a two week time frame. The author also states repeatedly that these are only the beginning steps to a life long journey. Yes this a dark, trigger filled book. It's possible to not like a book without leaving a horrible, negative review.

Everything about this book is amazing! The characters are enthralling. The story is both riveting and deliciously seductive. From beginning to end it draws you in. The duel narration on this book was an utter delight. The narrators brought the characters to life in a why that elevated an already great story into something truly incredible.

Short but steamy

This was a relatively short listen. Because of that a lot of story had to be put into a tiny package there is a bit of a gap in world building and character development. That being said the story was engaging, fast-paced and delightful steamy. The duel narration was a delight. Helping to breath life into this tale.

Lots of steam but a little light on plot

I loved this book for its delicious, sexy, steamy moments. The plot was unique but also a bit light on details. It has some interesting twists but still left me feeling like it was missing something. I did enjoy it for an entertaining, short listen. The narrator did a really great job with different character voices and accents. I felt she was really able to bring life into this story and make it that much more enjoyable of a listen.

If you are looking for a super steamy, melt your panties book, look no further! From beginning to end this book is packed with some of the steamiest content I've ever listened too.

The duel narration is really fantastic. Both narrators do an amazing job bringing all the characters to life. Not to mention all they bring to the bedroom scenes.

Steamy but a bit underwhelming

While the steam factor in this book is deliciously, just the way I like it, the story line for me felt a bit forced and predictable. I did enjoy it but felt like it was just missing that little something that would have elevated the story.

The narration was good. I really do love a good duel narration. It helps give the story more life and character.

I'm still confused at what I just listened to...

This story was sadly just a bit of a wreck in my opinion. It felt very disjointed and hard to understand at times. I think I figured it out by the end but it was rough getting to that point.

Gareth was okay as a narrator. I don't think his narration style is really my cup of tea. It just made the story all the harder to get through for me.

In this final book of the series all your questions will finally be answered. The authors do a fantastic job of wrapping of the series. I can't wait to see where the spinoff series takes us!!

Don't mess with the Verasque's!

I've been waiting for Sol's story and I was definitely NOT disappointed!!! It was full of sass, dirty humor, mystery and ofcourse a fantastic romance. It was so great to see the deep, tender and emotional side of Sol. This was absolutely my most favorite episode in the series.

Troy and Sarah's performance was fantastic as usual!!
