At first I thought the way of speaking might make it hard to listen to, but I found I loved the old ways of speaking, it makes everything sound so eloquent. I've been staying up way too late for weeks now listening to this book because I just don't want to stop the story. This has to be one of my favorite books ever. ♥️♥️

I got this book as a a free book through a buy one get one free offer. I may not have ever come across it otherwise. After reading many wonderful stories on various wars, I decided to take a break as many aspects of them could be so depressing.
This story was amazing! What an incredible woman Hedy Lamarr was! Not only a well known and beautiful actress of her time, but a young Jewish born girl during Hitler's reign that married an arms dealer in hopes of keeping her family safe that led her on a tumultuous path, but not only did she endure, she achieved greatness in notoriety in film and a scientific invention that we all use today in wireless technology. What an absolutely amazing woman!
