Talk about girl power…

I received a free copy of this audiobook, and this is my honest opinion. In this book the spot light hits Lydian. She may have a questionable past, but this brings to light some of her past traumas. One can come to understand her rationale in making her choices, and it only makes you more proud watching her step into a new nurturing role as a caregiver. She’s challenged to take on children as well as take down a human trafficking site. In keeping with one of the series, change is possible. After taking a big look inward, there’s no limits on what you can accomplish.

Darius is a seasoned soldier serving as general of his brother's army. Tensions between Berush and the neighboring countries of Artylia and Cerecia are high. War looms on the horizon. Renowned for his skill as a swordsman and leader in battle, Darius vows to protect his country and wreak vengeance on its enemies, but the toll is heavy. Violent dreams torment him at night, and a red haze of anger often clouds his judgment.

I received a free copy of this audiobook, and this is my honest opinion. Darius is a powerful ruler who's presence seems to intimidate most. Known for his strong men and their victories in battle, you could say Darius is used to getting his way. His interest falls on to who's after the one person he can't control Lady Eemeya. They both share interest in keeping their countries safe and seek negotiation together. I enjoyed seeing their professional and personal relationship grow. I really liked Darius' character he started out very rugged, unpolished, reactionary. His character took a humbling journey through self development. I could definitely see his attitudes in people I know today. I think it's appropriate for young adults and more mature readers alike.

I received a free copy of this audiobook, and here’s my honest opinion: I’m hooked. This is my first fantasy/action romance read in a while. I have to say it was so well written I was anxious to predict what was going to happen next with Sashia. From the beginning she has you rooting for her as you see her desire to learn and do good in the world. She’s the perfect mix of rebellion, strength, and vulnerability. Gabriel put so much detail into developing her character I felt like we were friends! Together we were studying medicine and politics trying to solve Berush’s problems. I enjoyed seeing her relationships evolve. Especially with the father of Cyrus. She isn’t afraid to ruffle some feathers in order to bring about change. I also would recommend listening to the audiobook on Audible. I was impressed with the voices and character changes. Looking forward to listening to more books written by Gabriel!
